Ensuring Chart’s Success…
This role is responsible for managing and maintaining the corporate financial records to ensure accuracy, compliance, and operational efficiency. The role oversees a broad range of accounting activities, including general ledger management, account reconciliations, financial controls, and the timely execution of corporate accounting processes. Working closely with Corporate, Global Finance, Business Units, Shared Services, and other key stakeholders, the Senior Financial Accountant ensures accurate financial reporting, supports business objectives, and contributes to the development and implementation of new processes. The position requires a strong commitment to meeting deadlines, resolving issues proactively, identifying process improvement opportunities, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. In addition, the role provides guidance and knowledge sharing across the team, supports the development of colleagues, and may lead smaller project teams or specialized work streams to ensure the successful delivery of key financial objectives.
What Will You Do?
• Following and maintaining work related process documentation
• Delivering quality work
• Completing tasks on or before deadline
• Ensuring compliance with SOX rules, policies and procedures, financial standards
• Performing daily/weekly/monthly reconciliation tasks and investigating/correcting differences
• Participating in corporate reporting
• Calculating and posting monthly journal entries – work with treasury, investment, tax, payroll, etc
• Calculating accruals, revaluations, booking intercompany statements
• Reviewing and approving journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations
• Monitoring intercompany accounts, reconciling intercompany balances
• Intercompany netting, processing settlement bookings, manual intercompany invoicing
• Performing month end, quarter end and year end closing related corporate accounting tasks
• Processing payments from/to e-banking systems
• Supporting weekly cash flow process
• Participating of on-boarding process and supporting new joiners
• Coaching team members - knowledge sharing
• Delivering ideas for standardisation and process improvement
Your Experience Should Be...
- University or college degree in Accounting, Finance
- Financial background, minimum 3 years experiences on Finance
- Solid understanding of accounting principles
- Fluent English
- Proficiency in Excel and accounting software(s), ERP
