Job Requirements
- Maintain Python-based scripting and automation frameworks for embedded firmware testing.
- Create and execute test plans, test cases, and regression suites for microcontroller-based products.
- Validate embedded firmware functionality, reliability, and performance.
- Perform system, integration, and end-to-end testing of EV-related embedded products.
- Debug firmware issues using serial logs, trace data, and hardware debugging tools.
- Test communication protocols such as CAN, UART, SPI, I2C, Modbus, and TCP/IP.
- Develop automated test scripts for hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) and system-level validation.
- Collaborate with firmware teams to identify, reproduce, and resolve defects.
- Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines.
- Prepare detailed test reports, defect analysis reports, and quality metrics.
- Support product releases by ensuring firmware quality and compliance requirements are met.
Work Experience
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Embedded Systems, Computer Science, or related fields.
- 6-7 years of experience in Embedded Firmware Testing and Automation.
- Strong proficiency in Python programming.
- Hands-on experience working with Linux and Embedded Linux environments.
- Experience testing firmware running on microcontrollers.
- Good understanding of embedded software architecture and firmware development lifecycle.
- Hands-on experience with communication interfaces such as CAN, UART, SPI, and I2C.
- Experience with Git and CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar platforms.
- Strong debugging and analytical skills.
