What awaits you in this role?

We are looking for a Engineer – R&D (Basic Sciences) who will work for Research and Development Directorate in Beko Corporate.

- Be involved in projects related to developing optical systems for diverse applications and products,

- Conduct experiments to measure performances of lighting and/or other optical units,

- Benchmark featured units/products for in-depth analysis of the relevant systems,

- Design alternative functional optical units and subsystems under various technical demands,

- Present and share the outcomes of the project across departments and functions.

The position is located in Çayırova, İstanbul.

How do we describe the perfect match?

- Bachelor’s degree in Physics Engineering (being an active Master’s student is an asset),

- Works on a project related to a master’s thesis,

- Experience in optical system design, lighting technologies, and optoelectronics,

- Familiarity with optical simulation software is a plus.

- Basic understanding of data analysis and machine learning concepts applied to experimental data processing

- Ambitious to work in a laboratory, testing, and creating system prototypes,

- Eager to study experimentally for developing new technologies,

- Excellent verbal and written skills in English,

- Thinks broadly about technology development,

- Has the desire to do outstanding jobs,

- Has a result-oriented mindset,

- Listens to different perspectives and shows flexibility,

- Builds collaboration,
