Business Function

Part of the Group Chief Operating Officer (Group COO) organisation, Group Marketing & Communications (GM&C) is responsible for aligning marketing and communications efforts across businesses and locations, accelerating the bank towards our long term vision around One Brand, and delivering greater efficiency to help DBS be the Best AI-enabled Bank with a Heart and build on the three moats of culture, data, and trust.

GM&C is focused on driving a One Bank One Brand approach, enhancing corporate reputation, shaping perception internally & externally, strengthening our brand value, and leveraging marketing tools & strategies to drive business results.

Job Purpose

As a Regional COO Specialist, you will lead and oversee all risk and control matters across GM&C for all six core markets (SG, HK, TW, ID, IN, CN), with primary focus in SG.

Responsibilities

- Risk & Control Management : Lead and manage all risk and control matters, including Key Risk Indicator (KRI) reporting, Risk & Control Self-Assessment (RCSA) testing, Third-Party Risk Management (TPRM), Business Continuity Management (BCM), Resolution Planning (RP), and Data Loss Protection (DLP) governance.
- Stakeholder Engagement : Partner with stakeholders such as the Risk Management Group (RMG), Group Business Continuity Management (GBCM), Group Procurement and Services (GPS), Group Audit, Information Security Services (ISS) and Legal & Compliance (L&C) to provide guidance and ensure compliance with Group guidelines.
- First Line of Defence : Support the Unit Operational Risk Manager (UORM) as the first line of defence in identifying and managing operational risks in day-to-day activities.
- BCM Oversight : Lead all BCM activities, including staff recalls, emergency evacuations, tabletop exercises, and scenario-based Business Continuity Plan (BCP).
- Risk Mitigation : Oversee residual risks, Issues & Action (I&A), Incidents Management (INC), etc and work with stakeholders to improve policies and processes to reduce risk exposure.
- Risk Culture : Manage risk culture indicators, attestations, and drive risk culture and awareness.
- Operational Support : Support all ad-hoc matters as required by GM&C COO.

Requirements

- Bachelors degree, with at least 8 years of relevant experience.
- Background in risk and control is a must.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work with multiple stakeholders.
- Resourceful and comfortable working in ambiguity.
- Perform effectively under pressure and deadlines.
- Positive attitude, open to new ideas and challenges, constantly looking for different and better ways to get things done.
