Director Supplier Quality Management

We are looking for an experienced and strategic Director Supplier Quality Management to lead supplier quality excellence across our manufacturing operations. This role is responsible for ensuring the quality of productive raw materials, driving supplier performance improvements, leading supplier qualification activities, and strengthening collaboration with global quality teams. The successful candidate will play a key role in safeguarding product quality, operational stability, and customer satisfaction.

Your role Key responsibilities in your new role

- Lead and oversee Supplier Quality Management activities, including Incoming Quality Control (IQC).
- Ensure the quality and reliability of productive raw materials supplied to manufacturing operations.
- Drive qualification and release processes for new suppliers and new raw materials.
- Develop and execute supplier quality improvement programs to enhance performance and reduce risks.
- Partner closely with global Supplier Quality teams to align strategies and best practices.
- Lead supplier audits and ensure compliance with quality management requirements.
- Manage and lead critical quality escalations, task forces, and root cause investigations to resolve complex issues.
- Drive cross-functional collaboration with Engineering, Manufacturing, Procurement, and Operations teams to achieve business objectives.

Your profile Qualifications and skills to help you succeed

- Master's Degree or above in Electronics, Physics, Materials Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- Significant experience in Quality Management, Supplier Quality, Manufacturing Engineering, or related functions within the automotive, semiconductor, electronics, or similar industries. Based on the source role, a minimum of 5 years was required; director-level candidates are expected to bring substantially broader leadership experience.
- Proven experience leading and developing high-performing teams.
- Strong knowledge of Quality Management Systems and quality tools such as 8D, SPC, FMEA, and related methodologies.
- Knowledge of VDA 6.3 and VDA 2 standards is highly preferred.
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and project leadership skills.
- Strong analytical mindset with exceptional problem-solving capabilities.
- Proficiency in written and spoken English.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic global environment.
