Export Control Analyst

Welcome to our Export Control team in Sweden. We are three employees in the export control area working together to ensure that our organization can operate in compliance with national and international regulations.

In the role of Export Control Analyst, you will support our companies different departments in operational export control-related matters.

Key Responsibilities

As Export Control Analyst, your responsibility is operational export control work. Among other things, this means that you will:

- Review requests in internal systems from an export control-perspective.

- Review and assess companies, organizations and individuals from a sanctions perspective.

- Administrate and maintain export licenses, which includes filing, processing and updating internal systems.

- Submit applications for export licenses to regulatory authorities.

- Report data on upcoming and historical exports to regulatory authorities

You will report to our Head of Export Control - Sweden and you will work on site at Bränslegatan, Västerås. Domestic and international travel is included in the role.

You have experience in administrative tasks and motivate your colleagues by supporting and guiding them through administrative processes. Qualifications

- High school graduate

- 3+ years of experience from an administrative role

- Drivers license.

- Full professional proficiency in Swedish and good knowledge in English.

- Good knowledge in Excel (can maintain complex spreadsheets)

Meritorious

- Experience from Operational export control work.

- Experience from Operational Trade Compliance Work.

- Certified Export Control Manager (CECM) training.

- Experience in the nuclear industry sector.

- Experience working in SAP and GTS systems.

- Experience from Project management.

Professional development opportunities

In the short term you will undergo internal professional training and, if you have not already done so, the Certified Export Control Manager (CECM) training program, given by Sveriges Exportkontrollförening.

With a couple of years of experience in the role as Export Control Analyst, you will have the opportunity to take on more challenging tasks. If you so wish, you will also have the chance to handle complex projects in the role as Export Control Specialist.
