Eli Lilly Italia is looking for a motivated and curious Spare Parts Procurement & Analytics Intern to join the Engineering area at the Sesto Fiorentino manufacturing site. Reporting to the GMARS Leader, the intern will support the GMARS Buyer team, working where spare parts procurement, data analysis and digital tools meet. The role combines purchase order processing with data analysis, Power BI dashboard development, process automation and the everyday use of AI tools, with the goal of making the area's operational processes more efficient and robust within a highly regulated pharmaceutical environment.

This 6-month internship is office-based and involves daily interaction with Process Engineers, Maintenance Technicians, the Spare Parts Warehouse, Maintenance Managers and external suppliers.

Key Responsibilities

- Purchase Order Management: Process and monitor spare parts purchase orders, tracking their status through to completion.
- Data Analysis & Dashboards: Analyze process data and build Power BI dashboards. Explore process automation solutions where they add value.
- Process Modeling: Map processes and resource usage across the different phases to spot bottlenecks and improvement opportunities.
- KPI Design: Propose new metrics to monitor the area's processes and performance.
- Continuous Improvement Projects: Lead small and medium-sized projects, including digital solutions, applying lean principles.
- Tool Implementation: Support the rollout and adoption of new tools, including AI-based ones.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Work with maintenance, engineering, warehouse and supplier stakeholders to align on and drive improvements.

Requirements

- Master Degree in Economics, Business Administration, Management, Statistics, Management Engineering or a related scientific discipline
- English level B2
- Familiarity with lean concepts and a problem-solving mindset
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to see tasks through to completion

The internship includes a monthly allowance of €1300 along with free access to the company cafeteria and canteen.
