About this role

Overview

Jackson Healthcare and our family of companies provide healthcare systems, hospitals and medical facilities of all sizes with the skilled and specialized labor and technologies they need to deliver high quality patient care and achieve the best possible outcomes — while connecting healthcare professionals to the temporary engagements, contract assignments and permanent placement employment opportunities they desire.

Headquartered in metro Atlanta, we’re powered by more than 2,600 associates and over 20,000 clinician providers covering all 50 U.S. states.

Our mission is to improve the delivery of patient care and the lives of everyone we touch. This includes the patients, clinicians and healthcare executives we work with through our companies every day, as well as our communities, the nonprofit organizations we support and each associate who is part of our family.

We’re always looking to add new talent to our teams. We value diverse professionals at all levels and across multiple disciplines and areas of expertise, who have strong leadership skills, align with our culture, and are committed to excellence.

This is a hands-on, individual-contributor role for an exceptional writer and storyteller who is comfortable owning projects end-to-end — from research and drafting, through publishing, and measuring cross-channel performance and impact. The ideal candidate brings a blend of demonstrated experience in messaging, brand consistency, and cross-channel writing; a data-informed mindset focused on performance and KPIs; strong editorial project and workflow management skills; and the ability to collaborate effectively across the enterprise in support of the evolving needs of Jackson Healthcare and its family of companies.

Day to day, the Senior Content Marketing Specialist will write, edit, and optimize blog posts, articles, bylines, and other long-form content; create video storyboards and scripts; and develop, publish, and manage written and multi-media content across various channels. The role will conceive fresh story ideas and maintain an editorial content calendar that keeps content timely, relevant, and aligned with audience needs, industry trends, and business priorities.
# ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Research, write, and edit high-quality blog posts, articles, and other web copy for external audiences, translating complex topics into clear, compelling messaging and ensuring every piece of content is well-researched, accurate and aligned with brand standards.

- Conceive original story ideas and contribute to content strategy and topic planning by researching audiences, industry topics and trends, and keyword opportunities; and own the resulting editorial calendar — coordinating priorities, deadlines and approvals across marketing, subject-matter experts and brand stakeholders to ensure relevant and timely deliverables.

- Optimize existing content for multiple channels and audiences — turning blog posts and articles into social, email and other digital assets to extend reach and maximize core deliverables.

- Develop scripts and storyboards for video content.

- Collaborate with team to produce compelling content for corporate identity materials.

- Create, execute and monitor SEO, AEO and GEO tactics to increase visibility and organic growth across search engines, answer engines and generative AI tools.

- Leverage analytics tools to monitor content performance; analyze engagement metrics; report results to stakeholders; and provide recommendations to enhance reach and effectiveness, and inform content strategy and editorial decisions.

- Manage day-to-day content across multiple websites within the CMS — publishing, formatting and maintaining pages, visuals, and multimedia assets, including creating basic graphics — and partnering with the team on page builds, site structure and information architecture.
- Support social strategy and tactics, including contributing content for organic and paid social campaigns.
- Maintain and enforce brand voice, style guidelines and editorial standards across content deliverables.
