Financial Controller

DP World, the fast-growing logistics leader that currently manages more than 10% of world trade, is seeking a dedicated Financial Controller to join our Finance department in Bucharest, Romania.

Your Responsibilities:
• Managing the customer accounts receivable and collections process.
• Reconciling balances with customers and DP World partners.
• Managing the process of importing customer invoices into the accounting system.
• Preparing financial reports and analyses in response to business requests and identified business needs.
• Actively participating in Group and regional projects with financial and accounting implications.
• Supporting the preparation of documentation and materials for financial audits.
• Contributing to the improvement and automation of the reporting process by identifying opportunities for financial optimisation and business process enhancement.
• Identifying and implementing pragmatic solutions to financial and operational challenges.

Your Profile:
• Higher education studies in Finance & Accounting.
• Minimum 3 years of previous work experience in Controlling/International Accounting.
• In-depth knowledge of RAS (Romanian Accounting Standards), IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards), and fiscal legislation.
• Strong proficiency in working with the Microsoft Office suite, advanced Excel skills in particular.
• Full professional working proficiency in the Romanian and English languages.
• B category driver’s license would be an advantage.
• Strong planning, organisational and execution skills, with the ability to work efficiently and independently.
• A structured and adaptable approach, with the ability to perform effectively while meeting deadlines.
• Customer-oriented, with a focus on delivering exceptional stakeholder experiences.
• Strong teamwork and collaboration skills, combined with flexibility in a dynamic working environment.
• Problem-solving mindset, with the ability to identify and implement practical and effective solutions.
