We are seeking a talented Supply Chain Planning Consultant to join our Supply Chain Transformation team and support clients in optimizing planning processes across forecasting, replenishment, inventory management, and integrated business planning.
Role Overview
As a Supply Chain Planning Consultant, you will play a key role in helping clients design, implement, and optimize modern supply chain planning solutions. You will combine business process expertise, analytical thinking, and technology capabilities to deliver transformational solutions that drive measurable business value and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Support end-to-end Supply Chain Planning transformation and implementation projects across the full project lifecycle.
- Analyze current planning processes and identify opportunities for improvement across demand planning, supply planning, replenishment, forecasting, and inventory management.
- Gather, document, and translate business requirements into functional designs and future-state operating models.
- Configure and implement supply chain planning solutions aligned with client objectives and industry best practices.
- Facilitate client workshops, solution design sessions, training programs, user acceptance testing (UAT), and go-live activities.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, key users, and cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery.
- Support change management and user adoption initiatives to drive sustainable business outcomes.
- Provide functional expertise and guidance on supply chain planning processes and planning solution capabilities.
- Work closely with client teams, technology partners, and project leadership to resolve challenges and optimize solution performance.
- Contribute to business development activities, including proposals, client presentations, solution demonstrations, and thought leadership initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, Information Systems, Mathematics, or a related discipline.
- C1 German Level
- Proven experience in Supply Chain Planning, Supply Chain Transformation, Operations Consulting, or planning solution implementation projects.
- Strong understanding of:
Demand Planning
- Forecasting
- Supply Planning
- Replenishment Planning
- Inventory Optimization
- Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP)
- Integrated Business Planning (IBP)
- Experience with supply chain planning platforms
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with the ability to translate business needs into practical solutions.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Client-focused mindset with strong consulting and relationship-building abilities.
- Ability to work effectively in diverse and international team environments.
- Fluency in English is required. German language skills are considered a strong advantage.
Preferred Experience
- Experience within retail, consumer products, manufacturing, or distribution industries.
- Exposure to large-scale supply chain transformation and digital planning initiatives.
- Knowledge of Agile delivery methodologies.
- Experience supporting workshops, training sessions, and organizational change management activities.
