As a Machinist II , you will set up, adjust, and operate Manual & CNC machine tools to manufacture and repair components to precise specifications. This role supports safety, quality, and continuous improvement within a regulated aerospace environment.

Shift requirement: Day shift M-F. This position may require flexibility to work multiple shifts as needed to support business demands. No regular shift rotation and no overnights.

What You Will Do

- Read and interpret blueprints, specification manuals, layouts, and work instructions to determine machining operations.
- Calculate dimensions and tolerances; measure, lay out, and verify workpieces using precision instruments (calipers, gauges, micrometers).
- Set up and adjust Manual & CNC machine tools; troubleshoot and modify setups to meet required specifications.
- Inspect finished products to ensure conformance to technical requirements.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives within the production cell.
- Cross-train in complementary skills and support production requirements.
- Support training and development of other technicians as needed.
- Follow all applicable safety requirements and report unsafe conditions.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Minimum of 5 years of experience with manual and CNC machining
- Minimum of 3 years of experience using production, ERP, or MRO systems to document labor hours, materials, and work instructions
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Demonstrated mechanical aptitude with high accuracy and precision.
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes, tool design, fabrication methods, metallurgy, and heat treating.
- Experience working with welding, hydraulics, electricity, or pneumatic systems.
- Familiarity with production management systems and internal control processes.
- Strong mathematical aptitude.
- Ability to read, understand, and communicate specialized technical information.
