About this role
NORNORM is a fast-growing circular scale-up on a mission to redefine the workspace industry through a subscription model that’s better for people, businesses, and the planet.
We’re expanding rapidly across Europe, backed by a leading player in the furniture industry and renowned growth equity investors, and we’re now opening a new market in the Munich area.
To build our presence in the region, we’re looking for Account Executives who’s driven by building relationships, winning new business, and helping establish NORNORM in a new market. Someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys creating opportunities from the ground up, and can manage the full commercial cycle from first contact to close.
You combine commercial sharpness with strong communication skills and an entrepreneurial mindset. You’re motivated by ambitious targets, but also by the opportunity to build something: developing a local network, creating commercial momentum and helping make NORNORM known across the Munich workspace ecosystem.
What you’ll do:
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients.
- Proactively hunt, identify and close new business opportunities across the Munich region.
- Build NORNORM’s local network and presence across the workspace and commercial real estate ecosystem.
- Drive the full sales cycle: prospecting, qualification, proposal, negotiation, closing and contracting.
- Manage and prioritise several client cases and commercial projects simultaneously.
- Grow existing accounts by identifying new use cases, expansion opportunities and upsell potential.
- Collaborate with colleagues and partners across Europe to support client onboarding and ensure smooth delivery.
- Represent NORNORM at client meetings, industry events and other relevant touchpoints across the region.
What we’re looking for:
You are persistent, self-motivated and commercially ambitious, with the drive to help build a market rather than simply inherit one. You thrive in a performance-focused environment and are energised by targets, momentum and creating new opportunities.
You communicate with confidence, build trust quickly and are comfortable getting out into the market to develop relationships. You bring structure, drive and resilience, and you’re motivated by turning new connections into long-term customer relationships.
- 3+ years in a commercial B2B role
- Hunting sales experience with proven ability to acquire new clients
- Full sales cycle ownership and strong project management skills
- Strong professional communication skills
- Fluency in German and strong English skills
- Experience with commercial real estate, brokers, landlords, tenant reps, office leasing or workspace providers is a plus
- An existing network in the Munich business or workspace ecosystem is a plus
Why join us?
Joining NORNORM means being part of something bigger - and in Munich, you’ll also have the opportunity to build something new.
You’ll be part of establishing NORNORM in a new market, while working closely with talented colleagues and experienced commercial leaders across Europe. You’ll have the backing of an established international business combined with the entrepreneurial opportunity of building our local presence from the ground up.
Practicalities:
This is a Munich-based role. Building a new market means being close to it, so we expect you to spend significant time meeting clients, partners and prospects and developing relationships across the region.
We value flexibility, but this is not a remote sales role. Success will come from being visible in the market, building a strong local network and working closely with the wider NORNORM commercial team.
To apply, you’ll need to have the right to work in Germany, as we’re unfortunately not able to offer visa or relocation support.
Our recruitment process
We run a structured recruitment process and review all candidates based on their application. You don’t need a flawless CV or a perfectly polished application — we value authenticity and would much rather hear your own voice than something overly scripted.
Please apply via the application form and include a short cover letter outlining your motivation for the role.
To ensure a fair and consistent process for all candidates, we’re not able to offer individual introductory calls or informal conversations outside the application process.
