Job Title: Satellite Operations Job Description The Satellite Operator supports 24/7 mission operations by monitoring spacecraft health, telemetry, and ground systems to ensure continuous mission success. This role involves performing real-time satellite operations activities, executing operational procedures, and responding to anomaly events through troubleshooting, escalation, and coordination with engineering teams. Candidates should have experience with satellite telemetry systems, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to operate effectively in a dynamic mission environment. Responsibilities

- Monitor spacecraft health, telemetry, and ground systems continuously.
- Perform real-time satellite operations activities.
- Execute operational procedures accurately.
- Respond to anomaly events through troubleshooting and escalation.
- Coordinate with engineering teams for anomaly resolution.
- Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve spacecraft anomalies in real time.

Essential Skills

- Experience with satellite telemetry, tracking, and command (TT&C) systems.
- Ability to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve spacecraft anomalies in real time.
- Knowledge of satellite operations procedures within a 24/7 mission operations environment.
- Strong communication, documentation, and decision-making skills.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

- Proficiency in Python and Matlab.
- Experience with anomaly resolution processes.

Work Environment Work in a Mission Operations Center (MOC) supporting 24/7 satellite operations and mission success. This role includes rotating shifts in a collaborative, casual dress environment where operators play a critical role in anomaly response and real-time spacecraft operations. This is a Contract position based out of Louisville, CO.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $58.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job
classification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to change and may be
