Are you a hands-on manufacturing leader who thrives in fast-paced production environments? We're looking for a Manufacturing Engineering Manager to lead engineering initiatives while overseeing plant operations across CNC machining, welding, assembly, and material handling.
This is a highly visible leadership role responsible for driving operational excellence, developing manufacturing processes, leading approximately 15 production employees, and ensuring safety, quality, delivery, and cost objectives are achieved.
What You'll Do
Lead Manufacturing Operations
✅ Direct daily operations across CNC machining, welding, assembly, and material handling
✅ Manage and develop a team of approximately 20 manufacturing employees
✅ Drive productivity, workflow improvements, employee engagement, and operational performance
✅ Partner with leadership to establish production goals and execution strategies
Engineering & Process Improvement
✅ Develop and optimize manufacturing processes for welding, machining, and assembly
✅ Maintain and improve tooling, fixtures, equipment, software, and production systems
✅ Identify bottlenecks and implement Lean manufacturing initiatives
✅ Lead continuous improvement projects focused on safety, quality, efficiency, and cost reduction
CNC & Welding Oversight
✅ Review machining programs, tooling, setups, and manufacturing methods
✅ Optimize CNC operations to improve throughput and part quality
✅ Troubleshoot welding and fabrication challenges and implement corrective actions
✅ Support advanced manufacturing technologies and process innovation
Quality & Safety Leadership
✅ Ensure products meet engineering specifications and customer requirements
✅ Collaborate with quality teams on inspections, corrective actions, and compliance initiatives
✅ Foster a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement
✅ Drive adherence to quality standards, manufacturing procedures, and safety regulations

What We're Looking For
Required Qualifications
✔ Bachelor's Degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field
✔ 5+ years of manufacturing engineering management and a proven track record of leadership.
✔ Experience managing production teams in a machining, fabrication, welding, or industrial manufacturing environment
✔ Strong knowledge of CNC machining, welding processes, assembly operations, and manufacturing best practices
✔ Experience with Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement methodologies
✔ Proficiency with CAD systems, CNC programming, ERP systems, and manufacturing software
✔ Strong problem-solving, communication, and team leadership skills
✔ Must be a US Citizen and able to gain security Clearances
