## Your Purpose

As Entertainment Operations Director you will lead the day-to-day management of MSC Creative Studios in Edinburgh, overseeing facility operations, team leadership, and alignment with wider Entertainment Department activities. You will drive high standards of delivery while fostering a safe, inclusive, and collaborative creative environment, ensuring full alignment with MSC’s operational and cultural standards.

## Your Impact

•    Leads, develops and manages a growing multidisciplinary team within a creative studio environment
•    Acts as a key point of contact with MSC’s global structure, ensuring strong communication and alignment
•    Oversees daily planning, scheduling and venue management across a multi studio rehearsal facility
•    Manages and controls operational budgets, ensuring efficiency and value delivery
•    Oversees supplier relationships, contracts and service standards
•    Ensures all operations meet health, safety, and compliance standards
•    Supports the delivery of high-quality rehearsal, training, and production activity
•    Sources and secures short,  mid- and long-term accommodation and logistics solutions for groups and support teams
•    Operates a venue that is not a 9-5 operation, supporting creative output through practical operational management

## Your Journey so far

•    Experience at Director/Senior Manager level within a creative, performance or educational facility
•    Demonstrated experience managing complex operations and large teams
•    Experience within entertainment, cruise, maritime, hospitality or large scale venue operations
•    Strong leadership and organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
•    Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills across international teams
•    Financial acumen with experience in budget management and cost control

## Your Essentials

•    Bachelors degree or equivalent qualification/experience
•    Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
•    Fluent English required, additional languages are an advantage
•    Willingness and ability to travel internationally on occasion
•    Existing right to live and work in the UK and willingness to relocate to Edinburgh area if required
