## Your Purpose
The Retail Demand Planning Analyst analyses sales data, estimating sales needs for the categories assigned, while ensuring purchase orders generation (RDA) for the assigned merchandise categories.
## Your Impact
- Define sales forecasting per item, vessel and area for the assigned categories
- Estimate sales according to pax forecast, historical data by item, potential product change and items cancellation
- Working closing with Category Managers to manage stock levels and forecasting
- Creating, sharing and constantly update demand forecasts for the assigned category to achieve sales targets in the optical of an OTB approach
- Effective Stock management according to OTB trend and targets
- Review Range monthly by Area and by ship to ensure a one in one out policy with consistent and rigorous analysis of SKU level performance
- Monitor the sell through and SKU level performance and share analysis results during periodical meetings with the Category Managers & Distributors
- Monitor markdown, seasonal and promotional strategy implemented by the Category Managers to provide feedback and ensure on board inventory is efficient
- Ensure purchase order generations and work with the replenishment team to ensure timely order placement
- Attending quarterly reviews with key vendors to ensure collaborative planning and to capitalize on sales trends information
- Keep up to date and generate data in the RGC Retail Global Calendar
- Provide the Planning Manager and the Coordinator with all necessary reports and analysis on RDA & forecasting activities and notify all relevant anomalies
- Proactively work with the departments involved to identify products changes, items cancellations and any variables that could affect sales forecasting and purchase orders generation
## Your Journey so far
• Previous working experience in Analyst role, ideally within the Retail sector
• Degree in Economics, Mathematics or Engineering
• Excel advanced user; knowledge of BO, QSENSE and POWER BI are an advantage
## Your Essentials
• Fluent English and Italian. Any additional language is an advantage
• Strong analytical skills
• Good understanding of supply chain operations
• Good organizational skills, ability to prioritize and follow-up
• Target oriented and proven ability to work under pressure
Our commitment
In line with applicable pay transparency requirements, we are pleased to share the compensation details for this role.
The role is entitled to a gross annual salary between € 28.000 and € 32.000. The position within the salary range and the corresponding job classification level under the applicable CCNL, will be determined based on the candidate’s professional experience, technical competencies, and the level of autonomy and responsibility assigned to the role.
The employment relationship will be governed by the CCNL Commercio (National Collective Bargaining Agreement for the Commerce Sector).
