About this role
We are looking for a talented Diesel Technician / Mechanic to join our Distribution business in Hilliard, OH.
Hours: Will Train on 1st Shift 7AM – 3:30PM – Will then move to evening shift 3:30PM – 12AM
You will make an impact in the following ways:
- Complete repairs on engine products in a service shop
- Perform maintenance/repairs utilizing diagnostic tools
- Maintain detailed records of serviced vehicles
- Adhere to Cummins Health, Safety & Environmental policies
- Ongoing development/certifications on new and existing Cummins products
- Maintain own tools
Perform all duties in compliance within the site safety requirements.
- A current valid CDL is required for this role. - This role requires a 5 year motor vehicle report, free of major violations - This role is subject to Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) drug and alcohol testing requirements and on going random drug and alcohol testing - This role requires applicant to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical - This role is subject to Department of Transportation (DOT) driving regulations including Hours of Service and Electronic Log Booking Device use - Federal law requires operators of commercial vehicles to be 21 years of age or older, applicant must be 21 years of age
