We are looking for a junior accountant to join our Finance team at our Barcelona HQ.

The Mission:

As a Junior Accountant, you will be part of the finance team, supporting the Accounting Manager in ensuring the accuracy and reliability of the company's financial records. You will contribute to the day-to-day accounting activities by maintaining and reconciling accounts, supporting the preparation of financial reports, and helping ensure that transactions arising from the company's business activities are correctly recorded and validated.

This is a hands-on role with an opportunity to build a strong foundation in accounting, gain exposure to different areas of the Finance function, and grow professionally within the team. You will report directly to the Accounting Manager.

Responsibilities:

- Carry out the accounts of suppliers: accounting entries of exchange rate differences, accounting entries differences of invoices adjustments, detect pending invoices and collect them.

- Account for the monthly invoices of supplies: electricity, water, telephone, …

- Account the invoices of purchases (NO STOCK) from the delivery note: Purchases of office material, Engineering expenses, and Customer Success expenses, …

- Reviewing and booking the capitalization of expenses.

- Record the amortization of the monthly asset.

- File the documents and administrative procedures.

- Keep the databases up-to-date: Accounts, Banks, Forms of collection and payment, clients, and suppliers.

- Support in the billing of non-accounting sales invoices: replacements, samples, and repairs.

Requirements:

- Degree in Economics, Business Administration, Finance, Accounting or similar field relevant to the accounting position.

- 1-2 years of experience in accounting, finance or similar position. Relevant internship experience is also considered.

- Fluent English and Spanish, both written and spoken.

- Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central and/or Kissflow is a strong plus.

- Basic understanding of accounting principles and processes, ideally with some exposure to areas such as supplier invoices, accounts payable, reconciliations and expenses
