Senior Technical Project Manager, Supply Chain

The Technical Project Manager will be part of the Systems team in the EMEA Distribution department for Finished Vehicle, Service, Energy and E-commerce. It is an important team in Tesla’s Supply chain as we are responsible for end-to-end Systems for all EMEA Distribution operations. The responsibilities of Systems Engineering will lie in managing Tesla’s 1) systems projects, 2) systems issues and 3) analytics for warehousing, logistics, and planning. You will be working with operations, product managers, data engineers and software engineers to drive automation, increase cost control and ensure compliance across the distribution network. The position sits in the intersection between operations, systems, and analytics. Therefore, we are looking for someone motivated with strong technical knowledge in systems and processes combined with strong social skills. It is a dynamic role that requires adaptability, drive, and creativity.

Ideation & Project Management for Systems

- Review existing functionalities and integrations between Tesla internal ERP systems and identify potential gaps / improvements that will impact operations
- Brainstorm and collaborate with operations to ideate the ideal software deployments
- Understand business goals and translate them into technical requirements and project plans
- Create Alignment with all business stakeholders on defined solution
- Create and maintain system product roadmaps, project plans, and progress reports
- Implement new dashboards, processes, and systems by creating the right training material and support structures
- Manage one or multiple programs end-to-end by understanding of all processes, available data, systems gaps, and stakeholders to drive projects holistically

Analytics & Systems Control

- Perform analysis on Structure and Unstructured data to identify system and process gaps
- Resolve Level 1 systems issue, perform analysis on L2/3 system issues and manage issue trackers with other support teams
- Maintain strategic systems configurations by having a thorough understanding of supply chain interdependencies and trade-offs
- Running daily analysis on Integration and Systems Health, thousands of transactions occur every day within Tesla and with our partners. Our team is responsible for the overall systems health
- Identify data warehousing gaps and drive data engineering projects to perform better analysis improve the analysis of analysis

- Proactive attitude and a “can-do” mentality.
- Not afraid to speak up and reach out and find the answers for yourself where needed.
- 3 to 6 years of experience in Engineering, System Product Management or Data Analytics in Supply Chain
- Experience in SQL, Splunk, Power BI, Tableau
- Experience Supply Chain Planning
- Experience in Project management for systems development
- Knowledge of System Architecture, API calls and JSON structures is required
- Effective communication skills and diplomacy to work with a multitude of partners with diverse needs and cultural backgrounds
- Excellent command of the English language
