About this role
This role is responsible for the support of the administrative & cycle count duties of the total department. This candidate must be well-organized, a team player and can multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
Job Responsibilities
- Job is an individual contributor and has no direct reports.
- Understand systems and processes of all internal operations and the dynamics of all material movement within the facility.
- Accurately identify product and packaging dynamics.
- Identify conditions within the facility that are contributing to inventory inaccuracies.
- Use RF equipment to complete cycle counts.
- Identify mistakes/inconsistencies that may affect the overall accuracy of the inventory and report findings to supervisor.
- This role has the responsibility to understand and place in practice appropriate safety procedures . This responsibility is achieved through education, training, use of protective equipment (as applicable) and by following safety policies, regulations, standards, and laws.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Experience & Skills
- Excellent proficiency in all Microsoft Office Suite Products.
- Strong computer skills and working knowledge/understanding of Warehouse Management Systems/SAP.
Education
- High School Diploma and/or equivalent work experience is required .
- Some college experience preferred.
Work Environment
- Work can be performed within a manufacturing plant environment with noise, extreme temperatures, and significant movement of powered equipment, people and conveyors (may depend on the role).
- Work conditions are typical of an office & plant environment.
- This role does not require any domestic travel.
- Position may require the physical agility of lifting up to 50 pounds.
- Position may require frequent and/or infrequent bending, squatting, pushing, pulling, stretching/reaching, use hands or fingers, talk, hear, feel objects, tools, controls and standing/walking on concrete flooring.
- Position may require the physical ability to stand/walk for greater than 4 hours.
