Broadridge is growing!  We are currently hiring a Quality Control Inspector for our Edgewood, NY location,

Job Responsibilities:

Inspect and verify printed media, materials, and postage through the sign-off process to ensure accuracy and quality. Provide timely feedback and escalate issues to appropriate management when standards are not met. Maintain active communication between shifts, peers, and departments. Demonstrate proficiency in all in-house systems specific to assigned areas of responsibility. Crosstrain in applicable areas to ensure quality and productivity goals are consistently met and exceeded. Verify that all jobs are properly reconciled and closed accurately and on time. Finalize control envelopes and print requests for completed jobs. Reconcile batches/IDF files accurately when discrepancies occur. Provide training for continuous improvement, onboarding of new associates, and cross-training opportunities. Support the team in achieving overall goals of quality, efficiency, and productivity. Ensure that all employees understand and comply with company guidelines and ISO standards during quality control processes. Record and report findings related to accuracy, errors, and damaged items. Perform on the spot audits on special products. Perform other duties and responsibilities as needed or assigned.

Preferred Qualifications / Competencies:

- High School Diploma or associate degree

- Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office and ability to learn new systems as needed.

- Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to successfully understand, communicate, read and write in English.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to identify root cause and single points of failure and propose effective solutions.

- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to take direction and perform effectively under time-sensitive conditions.
- Visual acuity to verify accuracy and neatness of work, particularly for repetitive tasks.

Requirements:

- Flexibility to work based on production volumes, which may include weekends and holidays.
- Ability to lift, move, and handle materials weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Commitment to maintaining a professional work environment and adhering to all company policies and ISO quality standards.

Salary range:  $20.00 hourly, bonus eligible

Work Hours: 5 PM – 1:30 AM - (Peak Hours 5 PM – 5AM).
