About Last Mile Health

Last Mile Health saves (LMH) lives in the world's most remote communities. Our vision is a health worker within reach of everyone, everywhere. We partner with governments to recruit, train, equip, and integrate professional community health workers into national health systems, equipping them to deliver quality primary care in rural and remote communities. Founded in Liberia in 2007, we now operate programs in Ethiopia , Liberia , Sierra Leone , and Malawi . Our global offices are located in Accra, Ghana and in the United States . We are looking for mission-driven leaders to join us as we work to ensure no patient is out of reach.

About the Partnerships and Communications Team

The Partnerships and Communications team builds strong, values-driven relationships with donors. Led by Courtney Evans Henke , the team cultivates connections with individuals, foundations, and corporations to ensure the organization has the resources to support our programmatic activities and advance our mission. They manage the entire journey of a partnership, handling everything from initial research and proposal writing to final reporting. To do this effectively, the team works hand-in-hand with colleagues in finance, MERL, and country programs to translate complex program data into meaningful updates that keep supporters engaged and informed.

The Role

At Last Mile Health, we are all stewards of our reputation and our resources. Are you experienced in project management, and in developing and implementing systems that ensure tailored cultivation strategies for each donor relationship? If so, you may be our next Manager, Partnerships & Development!

You will also support donor visits, events, conferences, and other engagement opportunities.

You will work closely with colleagues across the Partnerships & Communications team, particularly the Senior Director of Partnerships, as well as LMH’s senior leadership and programmatic teams. You will be a trusted partner to organizational leaders, helping them prepare for and navigate engagement with current and prospective funding partners.

The ideal candidate is a highly organized, proactive project manager who is comfortable working across teams and engaging senior leaders. You will bring strong judgment to prospect and opportunity vetting, develop recommendations for prioritizing funding opportunities and associated cultivation strategies, and independently manage multiple workstreams from initiation through completion.
