About this role
Description
Are you someone who thrives on creating a smooth, positive experience for others? At Amazon, we believe that great hiring starts with great coordination, and our Recruiting Coordinators play a vital role in making that happen. In this role, you will be at the center of our talent acquisition efforts, partnering with recruiters, hiring managers, and candidates to ensure every step of the interview process runs efficiently. You will manage complex scheduling logistics, serve as a trusted point of contact for candidates, and contribute to process improvements that help our recruiting teams work smarter. If you are organized, resourceful, and passionate about connecting people with opportunity, this is your chance to make a real impact on how Amazon builds its teams.
Key job responsibilities
- Coordinate and manage interview scheduling across multiple time zones, balancing the availability of candidates, interviewers, and hiring managers to deliver a timely and seamless candidate experience.
- Serve as a primary point of contact for candidates throughout the hiring process, building relationships, answering questions, and guiding them on what to expect and how to prepare.
- Collaborate with recruiters and hiring teams to troubleshoot scheduling conflicts, escalate risks, and make informed trade-offs between time and resources to keep hiring on track.
- Identify opportunities to streamline recruiting workflows and create or refine procedures that improve team efficiency and operational consistency.
- Leverage generative artificial intelligence tools where appropriate to augment productivity, evaluate outputs for quality, and apply responsible practices to support recruiting operations.
A day in the life
You will start your morning reviewing your scheduling queue, confirming upcoming interviews, and resolving any last-minute changes. Throughout the day, you will communicate with candidates to answer their questions and help them feel prepared and welcomed. You will partner closely with recruiters to align on priorities, flag potential bottlenecks, and keep interview loops moving. Between scheduling tasks, you may spend time updating tracking systems, refining documentation, or brainstorming ways to improve the coordination process with your teammates.
