Job Title: Contracts Administrator Job Description This mid-size aerospace and manufacturing firm seeks an experienced Contracts Administrator to manage customer contracts from initial proposal through contract closeout. You will ensure full compliance with company policies, customer requirements, and applicable aerospace industry regulations while supporting business objectives. In this role, you act as a key liaison between customers and internal teams, including program management, finance, supply chain, engineering, and operations, helping to secure new aerospace contracts and support the companys continued growth as a family-run business. Responsibilities

- Manage the full lifecycle of customer contracts from proposal, negotiation, and award through execution and closeout.
- Ensure all contracts comply with internal company policies, customer requirements, and applicable aerospace industry regulations.
- Serve as a primary liaison between customers and internal stakeholders, including program management, finance, supply chain, engineering, and operations.
- Coordinate and support the preparation of proposals and pricing, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and alignment with customer expectations.
- Support contract negotiations by reviewing terms and conditions and helping to structure agreements that balance customer needs and business objectives.
- Monitor contractual obligations, track key milestones, and help ensure timely delivery and performance in accordance with contract terms.
- Collaborate with supply chain and purchasing teams to align contract requirements with procurement activities and supplier commitments.
- Provide administrative support related to contracts, including documentation, record keeping, and data entry in relevant systems such as Visual Mfg.
- Perform data analysis related to contracts, pricing, and performance metrics to support decision-making and risk management.
- Assist in identifying, assessing, and mitigating contractual risks, escalating issues when necessary.
- Support customer relationship management by responding to inquiries, addressing concerns, and maintaining a high level of customer service.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to resolve contract-related issues and ensure alignment with overall program and business goals.

Essential Skills

- Proven experience in contract administration, ideally within aerospace or manufacturing environments.
- Strong background in contracts administration with the ability to manage the full contract lifecycle from proposal through closeout.
- Demonstrated customer service skills with the ability to build and maintain positive customer relationships.
- Experience with purchasing or supply chain-related activities in support of contract requirements.
- Familiarity with aerospace manufacturing processes and industry practices.
- Proficiency with Visual Mfg or similar manufacturing or enterprise systems used for contract and production support.
- Ability to perform data analysis related to contracts, pricing, and performance metrics.
- Experience with RFQs (Requests for Quotation) and related proposal processes.
- Strong administrative support skills, including documentation, organization, and attention to detail.
- Demonstrated contract negotiation skills with the ability to review and interpret terms and conditions.
- Experience in risk assessment and mitigation within a contracts or commercial context.
- Customer relationship management capabilities, including handling inquiries and resolving issues.
- Knowledge of aerospace compliance and regulatory requirements relevant to contracts.
- Experience providing proposal and pricing support for new and existing contracts.
- Proven ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams such as finance, supply chain, engineering, and operations.
- Strong analytical problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed recommendations.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

- Bachelors degree preferred, ideally in Supply Chain, Finance, or a related field.
- Experience working in a aerospace or manufacturing business environment.
- Ability to manage multiple contracts and priorities in a fast-paced aerospace manufacturing setting.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for interacting with customers and internal stakeholders.
- High level of organization and time management to support multiple concurrent projects and deadlines.

Work Environment This role is based on-site in South Seattle within a mid-size, family-run aerospace and manufacturing firm that is growing with new aerospace contracts. The standard shift options are approximately 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. or 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., offering predictable daytime hours. The facility provides free parking for employees. Over time, the position may be considered for bonus or profit-sharing opportunities, reflecting the companys commitment to sharing success. You will work closely with cross-functional teams in a collaborative environment that utilizes systems such as Visual Mfg to support manufacturing and contract activities.

This is a Permanent position based out of Seattle, WA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $75000.00 - $100000.00/yr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
