Seasonal Full Time Busser

Job Description: Skokie Country Club is currently seeking experienced Bussers/ Food Runners to join our Food and Beverage team. Private clubs are unlike any other industry. Dining rooms and banquets need food and beverage professionals with a willingness to provide outstanding service to our members and their guests.
  
Duties and Responsibilities:
·         Demonstrate genuine hospitality while greeting and establishing positive relationships with members and guests throughout the club
·         Constantly delivering exceptional dining experiences
·         Stock, organize, and maintain restaurant equipment, storage, dining room, and terraces
·         Stock and maintain all snack areas
·         Setup and breakdown of bar and restaurant
·         Perform all side work as assigned
·         Keep the dining rooms, bars, and terraces clean, safe, and presentable at all times while always providing friendly and attentive service-Excel in the delivery of food and beverages to members and guests
·         Set, maintain, and clear all tables in the restaurant, bar, and on the terraces
·         Deliver water, bread, plates, silverware, and napkins as needed
·         Assist with setup, and maintain all lunch and dinner buffets for club events and/ or private member events
·         Own every member request
·         Any other duties assigned by the Food and Beverage managers or Clubhouse manager
 
Reports To: All F&B Managers, Assistant General Manager
  
Qualifications:
·         Must be at least 16 years of age or older
·         Must have upbeat, outgoing positive attitude
·         Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills
·         Ability to work affectively with a team
·         Ability to be on your feet for extended periods of time
·         Willingness to learn
·         Previous bussing experience a plus
·         Experience in private clubs is a plus
·         Must be available to work nights, weekends, Club events, and most Holidays
·         Must possess a true desire to satisfy the needs of members and guests in a fast paced environment
·         Must have physical stamina to lift moderate amounts of weight up to 50lbs.
·         Must be Food Handler Certified
 
Availability: Must be available to work nights, weekends, Club events, and most Holidays
  
Compensation (non-tipping): Competitive hourly rate based on experience starting from $18 - $19/hr. This is a non-tipping position.
