How you’ll make an impact in this role

- Direct the strategic vision and daily operations of the clinical simulation program to build an innovative, high-impact learning environment across regional sites.
- Lead cross-functional clinical outreach by delivering continuous, immersive simulation training to attending physicians, residents, nurse practitioners and support teams.
- Command high-fidelity simulation technology by operating, programming and troubleshooting advanced medical mannikins, software and audio-visual equipment.
- Deploy mobile simulation logistics across Central Texas clinic locations to execute seamless, on-site scenario staging and debriefs.
- Manage flexible operational priorities to rapidly accommodate urgent, pop-up training requests and off-hours clinical simulations.
- Bachelor's degree in nursing, healthcare administration or a related clinical field
- Certified Healthcare Simulation Educator (CHSE) or Certified Healthcare Simulation Operations Specialist (CHSOS) credential
- Minimum of three years of hands-on clinical simulation program management and technology experience

What minimum requirements you’ll need

Education:

- High School diploma equivalency with 3 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's
degree/Bachelor's degree with 2 years of cumulative experience OR 7 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
- 3 years of leadership or management experience preferred.
- Regional Travel & Schedule Flexibility: Must possess a valid driver's license, willingness to travel throughout Central Texas for clinic simulations, and adaptability to support occasional non-traditional hours.
- Clinical Simulation Technology: Deep technical command of high-fidelity simulators/mannikins, task trainers, simulation software platforms, and medical hardware maintenance.
- Proven Program Leadership & Vision: Demonstrated success managing, scaling, and evaluating clinical education or simulation programs, with a pioneering mindset eager to build and lead new initiatives.
- Exceptional Organizational & Field Logistics Command: Superior organization and time-management skills to orchestrate complex equipment packing, multi-site travel logistics, and scenario scheduling.
- Advanced Technical Agility: Quick-learning, tech-savvy professional comfortable managing demanding hardware, wireless networks, software updates, and diagnostic technology.
- Elite Interpersonal & Presentation Skills: Dynamic communication skills to engage, instruct, and collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary medical staff and health system leadership.
