Electrical Estimator (HEE) (55880)

Hanley Energy is seeking an experienced Estimator to join our estimating team with a primary focus on Building Management Systems (BMS), Electrical Power Monitoring Systems (EPMS), and the installation of Hanley Energy electrical products within existing data center environments across the AMER region.

This role will support the development of competitive and accurate project estimates for new and existing customer opportunities involving BMS, EPMS, power monitoring solutions, electrical upgrades, system integrations, and the deployment of electrical equipment manufactured by Hanley Energy's production facility in Ireland. The Estimator will collaborate closely with Business Development, Engineering, Operations, Procurement, Project Management, and customers throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

- Review project drawings, specifications, site information, RFQs, and customer requirements.

- Develop detailed cost estimates for BMS, EPMS, power monitoring, and electrical installation projects.

- Prepare labor, material, equipment, subcontractor, and commissioning cost estimates.

- Estimate electrical installation and integration of Hanley Energy manufactured products into existing data center environments.

- Develop project scopes, BOMs, quotations, and professional proposals in accordance with company standards.

- Manage RFQ intake, document control, scope reviews, and RFI processes.

- Coordinate with engineering teams regarding product design, integration requirements, and deployment strategies.

- Obtain supplier and subcontractor pricing and support commercial evaluations.

- Identify project risks, exclusions, scope gaps, and constructability concerns.

- Support customer budget pricing, conceptual estimating, and value-engineering activities.

- Maintain estimating documentation, proposal records, and sales pipeline information.

- Participate in project turnover activities to ensure a seamless transition from estimating to project execution.

- Develop strong working relationships with customers, consultants, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.

- Ensure all deliverables comply with company quality, safety, and environmental requirements.

Qualifications

- 3+ years of experience in electrical estimating, controls estimating, project engineering, or electrical construction.

- Experience with Building Management Systems (BMS), Electrical Power Monitoring Systems (EPMS), or critical facility infrastructure.

- Experience estimating electrical installation projects within mission critical or data center environments.

- Ability to interpret electrical drawings, specifications, one-line diagrams, control schematics, and construction documents.

- Understanding of power monitoring systems, electrical distribution systems, controls integration, and commissioning activities.

- Knowledge of labor productivity, material pricing, subcontractor management, and project costing methodologies.

- Experience developing BOMs, project budgets, and customer proposals.

- Proficiency with Accubid Anywhere, Bluebeam, Salesforce, Microsoft Office, SharePoint, or similar business applications.

- Experience supporting projects involving retrofits, upgrades, and installation of equipment within existing operating data centers preferred.

- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
