AI Software engineer

Join EBEX.ai, the transformation office at Everwest Group, and help build the AI solutions that are reshaping how a large logistics group works. You'll design, develop, and ship production-grade applications powered by large language models, from intelligent automation and agentic workflows to internal platforms used across the business. Working closely with architects, program managers, and business stakeholders, you'll turn real operational problems into practical, scalable AI products.

We're looking for a hands-on engineer with strong software development skills (Python or TypeScript), experience integrating LLM APIs, and familiarity with cloud environments such as AWS. Curiosity, ownership, and the ability to move quickly from idea to working solution matter more to us than a perfect CV.

Requirements

- 3+ years of professional software development experience, with strong skills in Python and/or TypeScript
- Hands-on experience building applications on LLM APIs (Anthropic Claude, OpenAI, or similar), including prompt engineering, tool use, and structured outputs
- Practical, daily experience with AI-assisted development tools, especially Claude Code, and the ability to use them to deliver faster without sacrificing quality
- Understanding of agentic workflows and the Model Context Protocol (MCP), including connecting AI agents to internal systems and data
- Experience with AWS (e.g., Lambda, ECS/Fargate, CloudFormation, IAM) and deploying production workloads
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Git, and GitHub-based workflows
- Solid backend fundamentals: REST APIs (e.g., FastAPI), relational databases (PostgreSQL), and authentication (JWT, SSO/Keycloak)
- Good English communication skills and the ability to work directly with business stakeholders to turn problems into working solutions
