Overnight Caregiver (CNA, PCA, HHA)

Trove Home Care is seeking dependable, compassionate Overnight Caregivers to support clients in Charlottesville and surrounding communities.

We are looking for caregivers who are specifically interested in overnight shifts and are comfortable providing attentive, one-on-one care in a client's home throughout the night. Overnight assignments may include weekday and/or weekend opportunities and can vary based on client needs.

Pay: $18–$25 per hour, depending on certification, experience, and assignment

What You'll Do

As an Overnight Caregiver, you may assist clients with:

- Personal care, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
- Mobility, transfers, and fall-prevention support
- Overnight safety monitoring and supervision
- Medication reminders
- Meal preparation
- Light housekeeping and laundry
- Companionship and reassurance
- Morning and evening routines
- Following individualized care plans and documenting care provided
- Communicating changes or concerns to the Trove care team

Depending on the client's needs, caregivers may be required to remain awake and attentive throughout the overnight shift.

Qualifications

Qualified candidates must:

- Have a valid CNA, PCA, or HHA credential, or meet Trove Home Care's caregiver training requirements
- Have a valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and current auto insurance
- Be able to successfully complete required background and driving record checks
- Be able to safely lift at least 35 lbs.
- Be dependable, professional, and comfortable working independently in a client's home
- Have reliable availability for overnight assignments

Previous professional caregiving experience is strongly preferred.
