Senior Construction Cost Analyst – SQL & Data Modeling (Nashville, TN)

The Global Program Controls organization provides governance, reporting, controls processes, cost management support, and portfolio visibility to help Oracle Cloud Infrastructure deliver global data center programs with greater consistency, transparency, and execution discipline.

We are seeking a senior construction cost professional with expert SQL and data-modeling capabilities to build and manage a trusted source of truth for cost information.

This role will bring together cost management, estimating, project controls, financial, and operational data from Horizon, Apex, and other internal systems. The successful candidate will turn fragmented source data into consistent, governed, decision-ready information—enabling better forecasting, benchmarking, and leadership reporting.

You will be a close partner to cost management, estimating, project controls, finance, and operations.

Core Responsibilities

- Lead the collection, reconciliation, and modeling of construction cost data from Horizon, Apex, ERP systems, estimating platforms, project controls tools, spreadsheets, and other data sources.

- Use SQL to extract, transform, validate, and analyze data across multiple systems and databases.

- Design and maintain the core cost data model, including project, cost code, estimate, budget, commitment, change order, invoice, actual cost, forecast, labor, material, equipment, and subcontractor relationships.

- Establish and maintain a governed, centralized source of truth for cost reporting and analysis.

- Build and manage unit-rate databases using historical cost, productivity, quantity, labor, equipment, material, and subcontractor data.

- Standardize cost-code mappings, WBS/CBS structures, reference data, reporting definitions, and calculation logic across projects and systems.

- Develop reusable SQL views, stored procedures, validation routines, and reporting datasets that reduce manual reporting effort.

- Identify, investigate, and resolve data-quality issues, including incomplete records, inconsistent classifications, duplicate values, and conflicting source information.

- Partner with cost management and project controls teams to improve estimate-to-budget, budget-to-actual, forecast, change-control, and cost-to-complete reporting.

- Produce clear analyses and executive-ready reports that communicate cost performance, trends, risks, and opportunities.

- Document data sources, model relationships, transformation logic, business rules, and ownership to support sustainable use and governance.

- Support Power Apps and Power Automate solutions that improve data collection, workflow, and control processes.

US: Hiring Range in USD from: $90,100 to $209,500 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.
