Standard Job Description
Performs technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for total systems. Analyses are performed at all levels of total system product to include: concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance and disposal. Ensures the logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints. Performs functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications. For positions that perform IT responsibilities, use E646, Systems Engr-IT.
This position will be leading Systems Engineering Architecture .
Basic Qualifications
* Must be a US Citizen; this position will require a government security clearance. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.
* Final Secret Clearance investigation within the last 5 years with ability to or in the process of obtaining a Top Secret SAR/SAP clearance.
* Must have Systems Engineering Architiure expereince
* Ability to work with different engineering disciplines to derive and decompose requirements
* Work experience with operational modeling tools
Desired Skills
* Experience leading systems engineering team(s) and specifically experience developing a system architecture and leading the effort
* Experience in Mission Systems (MS) system design and development
* Experience with DOORS, Rhapsody, 3DX, Cameo, or other digital engineering tools
* Experience executing in a digital engineering environment (i.e., MBSE and digital twin)
* Experience using software tools (such as MS Excel , JIRA and Access)
* Ability to work with different engineering disciplines to derive and decompose requirements
* Work experience with operational modeling tools
* Experience developing a system architecture
* Experience using software tools (such as MS Excel , JIRA and Access)
* Experience with systems engineering processes
* Good written and verbal communication with experience in writing requirements
Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $145100.00 - $269500.00
