The Sales & CRM Technology team partners with the Sales & Marketing organization to define and deliver the digital strategy and technology roadmap that enables business growth, improves seller productivity, and enhances customer engagement. The team supports and advances strategic commercial platforms including Customer Relationship Management (CRM), Configure Price Quote (CPQ), customer experience technologies, reporting, analytics, and other digital sales solutions used globally.
As a Sales & CRM Technology Business Analyst Intern, you will support multiple initiatives focused on improving commercial processes, enabling strategic business capabilities, and driving digital transformation across the organization. This role will provide exposure to large-scale technology implementations, business analysis activities, and cross-functional collaboration with both business and technical teams.
The internship assignment will focus on supporting the contract management lifecycle, migration of historical contract-related documentation into CRM platforms, documenting and analyzing current-state business processes, and helping develop future-state recommendations and implementation roadmaps.
Responsibilities
- Partner with business stakeholders and technology teams to bridge the gap between business needs and technical solutions.
- Analyze business processes and identify opportunities to improve efficiency, effectiveness, and user experience through technology.
- Document and facilitate current-state ("As Is") and future-state ("To Be") process mapping exercises.
- Create, analyze, and validate business and functional requirements.
- Assist with the design and documentation of technology solutions that align with global business systems and strategies.
- Support systems design activities, including data migration requirements, business rules, process workflows, wireframes, and other project deliverables.
- Participate in meetings, workshops, and work sessions with cross-functional teams.
- Develop presentations and documentation to communicate recommendations, project updates, and solution designs.
- Support project management activities, testing efforts, and user adoption initiatives as needed.
- Gain hands-on experience with CRM, CPQ, customer experience platforms, reporting and analytics solutions, Lucidchart, Azure DevOps, and other enterprise technologies.

Education
- Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in: Information Systems, Business Analytics, Computer Science, Information Technology, Management Information Systems (MIS), Software Engineering, or a related technology-focused field
- Must be actively pursuing a degree and remain enrolled in an accredited degree program following the internship start date in Summer 2027.
Qualifications
- Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Demonstrated interest in business technology, digital transformation, systems analysis, or enterprise applications.
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics, CRM platforms, process mapping tools, or business analysis activities is a plus but not required.

Work Location
This position is primarily hybrid with a preference for candidates located in Connecticut who can periodically work from the office and collaborate with team members in person. Remote candidates may be considered, with occasional travel to Otis headquarters as business needs require.

The hourly range for this role is $20/hr to $26/hr. We may pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may change in the future. Pay within the salary range will be based on factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, and business or organizational needs.
