We are seeking dynamic, adaptable individuals who have a passion for journalism and thrive in front of the camera on broadcast, live hosting, and streaming platforms. We are currently searching for a full-time Streaming Host / Reporter with strong editorial, live interview, and unscripted hosting capabilities. Duties and Responsibilities:

Successful candidates are versatile newsroom professionals who are curious about the Los Angeles community; creative in sourcing and producing engaging content; and skilled at seamlessly hosting live streams, unscripted breaking news, and field interviews across our digital and broadcast ecosystems.

- Serve as the on-air face and voice for FOX Local Los Angeles channels, digital platforms, and special coverage.
- Lead engaging live interviews, host long-form segments, and drive conversational coverage during both breaking news events and scheduled streams.
- Ditch the script and connect authentically with the audience, driving real-time digital engagement and viewer interaction.
- Master newsroom streaming tools and video systems to independently operate, navigate, and anchor live digital broadcasts.
- Pitch, research, write, and present compelling video and news content tailored for FOX Local Los Angeles apps, Connected TV, and social media.
- Stay at the frontline of developing stories, taking on flexible hosting and field reporting duties as news breaks.
- Maintain an active, professional social media presence that aligns with the FOX Local Los Angeles brand and fosters community connection.
- Collaborate with newsroom producers, photographers, and field crews to adapt stories effectively across multiple platforms.
- Perform other newsroom duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements:

- Deep familiarity with Southern California, its diverse communities, current events, and local culture is highly favorable.
- High school diploma required; 4-year college degree in Journalism, Communications, or a related field preferred.
- 2 to 5 years of professional experience as a streaming host, reporter, or Multimedia Journalist (MMJ) in a fast-paced environment.
- Exceptional on-camera presence with proven unscripted delivery, live ad-libbing, and interviewing skills.
- Basic experience with digital streaming workflows, non-linear video editing (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro), and switching tools (such as Tricaster).
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills under deadline pressure.
- Ability to thrive under pressure, adapt to fast-moving story developments, and maintain strong journalistic integrity.

Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay rate/range for this role, with final offer amount dependent on education, skills, experience, and location is $130,000.00-160,000.00 annually. This role is also eligible for various benefits, including medical/dental/vision, insurance, a 401(k) plan, paid time off, and other benefits in accordance with applicable plan documents. Benefits for Union represented employees will be in accordance with the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
