We are looking for:
Assistant Researcher 1- Compounding
- The R&I Compounding Team collaboratively supports Syensqo’s R&I organizations by bringing reality to the visions of research groups throughout the organization.
- To fulfill its mission, the team is looking for a motivated processing researcher to work closely with a team of engineers and scientists.
- As a processing researcher, you will be directly involved in the implementation of experiments on twin screw extrusion lines.
- This role emphasizes open communication, development of expertise in twin screw extrusion.
- You will work in a R&I/Product Development centered position.
We count on you for:
- Operates Extrusion equipment and all auxiliary process equipment as required.
- Observes the Extrusion process and makes minor adjustments as needed.
- Provides clear and accurate process documentation.
- Ensures that all Extrusion equipment is cleaned and maintained per SOPs.
- Maintains a safe work environment for self and others.
- Participates in all safety audits and attends required safety meetings & training.
- Takes direction from and works closely with the front-line supervisor.
- Proactively communicates with their supervisor to ensure an optimal work environment.
- Performs other customary tasks and duties as required.
- Overtime (over 40 hrs./work week) and/or alternate shift work may be required.

You will get:
- Competitive salary and benefits package.
- The U.S. base salary range reasonably expected to be paid for this position is $68,500-$75,000 per year. Since actual compensation packages are based on a variety of factors unique to each candidate we may ultimately pay more or less than the posted base salary range. Total compensation for this role also includes bonus and/or other incentives.
