POSITION SUMMARY:

In this role, youll help keep Berger Chevrolets new vehicle inventory moving smoothly from arrival to customer delivery. Youll work closely with the sales, finance, and service teams to keep inventory organized, information accurate, and each vehicle on track for a smooth, customer-focused delivery experience. This position is onsite Monday – Friday (9am – 8pm) and a Saturday rotation (9am – 4pm). All shifts conclude once all daily sales deliveries are completed.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

- Order new vehicles from General Motors based on dealership allocations, market demand, and business objectives.

- Check in vehicles from the prep department and create service repair orders (ROs).

- Support the intake and return of vehicles to the rental department, maintaining accurate records and smooth operations.

- Guide new owners through the setup of their OnStar and MyChevrolet apps to enhance their vehicle ownership experience.

- Accurately process and log completed deals in dealership systems, ensuring all required documentation is complete.

- Submit incentive and rebate applications through the Global Incentives and Vehicle Inventory (GIVI) system to support dealership profitability.

- Maintain up-to-date inventory records by posting daily vehicle invoices and submitting GIVI incentives and rebates.

- Follow up with customers on their Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI) surveys and compile monthly reports to track performance and improve the dealerships customer experience.

- Ensure compliance with General Motors programs and dealership inventory guidelines.

- Assist with various sales-related activities and administrative tasks to support the new car department.

- Other responsibilities may be assigned through continued employment.

DESIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:

- High school diploma or GED.

- Previous experience in an automotive environment, especially within a high-volume dealership, is highly preferred.

- Exceptional attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to prioritize tasks, multitask, and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with team members and customers.

- Proficient with computers and dealership software, including Dealership Management Systems (DMS), Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tools, inventory systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.

- Dependable, trustworthy, highly organized, and consistently efficient.

- Ability to operate an automobile and maintain a valid drivers license.

- Must allow pre-employment screenings, i.e., background checks, driving record evaluations, and drug testing.
