Northrop Grumman’s Space Sector is seeking a Policies and Procedures Analyst – Level 3 or Level 4 to join our team! The location for this role can be either Promontory, UT or Huntsville, AL.

The Principal Policies and Procedures Analyst is a senior subject-matter expert responsible for leading the development, governance, and continuous improvement of enterprise policies, procedures, and related documentation. This role ensures that organizational practices are clearly defined, compliant with applicable requirements, aligned to business objectives, and accessible to stakeholders across the enterprise. The analyst partners with functional leaders, risk and compliance teams, and process owners to design, standardize, and maintain a coherent, well-controlled procedural framework.

This position will work a 9/80 schedule, with every other Friday off.

This position can be filled at either a Level 3 or Level 4.

Basic Qualifications for Level 3:

- Bachelor’s degree with 5 years of professional experience – OR – Master’s degree with 3 years of professional experience – OR – PhD with 1 year of professional experience.  Will consider an additional 4+ years of experience in lieu of degree.
- Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government Secret security clearance
- Experience with the development, review, configuration control, and access control of documented information (Principles and Operating Standards, Standard Operating Procedures, Technical Manuals, Drawings, Forms, Etc.)
- Strong written & verbal communication skills
- Experience with Data Analytics and Statistical Analysis methods and techniques
- Ensures that performance and quality processes conform to established company and regulatory standards
- SharePoint & SharePoint Online administration experience
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Security Clearance
- US Citizenship required
- Familiarity with AS9100/AS9110, ISO 9001, and/or customer-specific quality management system requirements.
- Ability to travel on ‘as-needed’ basis up to 25% of the time

- Bachelor’s degree with 8 years of professional experience – OR – Master’s degree with 6 years of professional experience – OR – PhD with 4 years of professional experience.  Will consider an additional 4+ years of experience in lieu of degree.
- Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government Secret security clearance
- Experience with the development, review, configuration control, and access control of documented information (Principles and Operating Standards, Standard Operating Procedures, Technical Manuals, Drawings, Forms, Etc.)
- Strong written & verbal communication skills
- Experience with Data Analytics and Statistical Analysis methods and techniques

Preferred Qualifications:

- AS9100 Lead Auditor experience/knowledge
- Strong MS Word PowerPoint and Excel experience
- Professional certifications (e.g., PMP, Lean/Six Sigma, CRISC, CCEP, CIA, or similar).
- Experience with policy management systems, document control platforms, and collaboration tools
- Strong project management knowledge
- SharePoint website development experience
- SharePoint workflow design experience
- SharePoint metadata management experience

Primary Level Salary Range: $73,900.00 - $122,600.00

Secondary Level Salary Range: $92,200.00 - $153,000.00

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
