About this role
The Medical/Surgical Technician is an allied health professional who under the supervision of physician(s) supports and assists the physician(s) and clinical staff in the delivery of health care by performing a variety of patient care duties and tasks related to surgical patient needs.
Education
- High School Diploma/GED General Education - minimum
- Vocational/Technical Diploma Successful completion of an accredited Surgical Technology program. - preferred
Experience
- 2 or more years of experience in an inpatient or outpatient medical setting with Surgical Tech specialty experience - minimum
Licenses and Certifications
- Basic Life Support (BLS) - minimum Current CPR certification.
- Certified Surgical Technologist - preferred
