## Project Overview:

Bechtel is partnering with NextDecade to support their vision to provide the world access to lower carbon intensive energy with their Rio Grande LNG (RGLNG) project in Brownsville, Texas. RGLNG is a natural gas liquefaction and export terminal situated on a 984-acre site on the banks of the Brownsville ship channel. The first phase of the RGLNG project consists of three liquefaction trains, two storage tanks and one marine berth. At full capacity, the five-train facility will have a production capacity of 27 million tonnes per annum (MTPA).

## Job Summary:

In this role, you will provide automation support to project teams, including setup, training, application use in work-process, software quality assurance and control, reporting, database administration, and close-out of all construction automation software and applications. Your technical knowledge will help ensure applications and software meet user requirements and are compliant with work processes.   #LI-TH1

## Major Responsibilities:

- Administer, test, and implement computer databases.
- Create, establish, and maintain integrity of Construction Databases to establish the requirements for PowerApps development, dashboards, and any other enhancement required to improve current work processes and databases.
- Coordinate with design engineering and construction automation project support, and other departments to establish or coordinate the implementation for automated data transfer between applications.
- Configure and support construction application tool to meet project requirements.
- Understand reporting requirements for construction applications and configure reports accordingly.
- Ensure reports are accurate reflections of the data and are functioning as intended.
- Review and troubleshoot data for accuracy and completeness.
- Develop quality applications and tools to detect data quality issues.
- Provide training and technical support to end users, including field engineering, supervision, administration, project controls, and other site personnel.
- Evaluate and monitor data exchanges across multiple platforms to identify and resolve synchronization issues
- Establish standardized application usage across projects to promote scalability and seamless transferability among team members
- Design and implement an automated system for mapping cost codes to standard construction materials (e.g., pipe, steel, concrete), ensuring consistent classification and streamlined cost management
- Contributed to the development of software tools to efficiently identify and model construction elements for improved planning and execution
- Facilitated cross-discipline discussions to identify the root causes of data quality issues and implement mitigation strategies prior to the execution phase
- Conducted training sessions on Power Platform-based activities for new hires and interns, and developed tailored action plans to guide their onboarding and productivity

## Education and Experience Requirements:

- Requires bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) and 2-5 years of relevant experience or 6-9 years of relevant work experience

## Required Knowledge and Skills:

- Advanced experience with PowerApps, Tableu, POSTGRE SQL, MICROSOFT SQL, 3D Model viewer (TEKLA & UPV), PYTHON Programming, PowerBi, Oracle,  MS Office Suite
- Construction Knowledge for main disciplines (Civil, Piping, Mechanical & Electrical)
- Technical knowledge of all phases of construction engineering relating to a single discipline interfacing with all areas, or in a multi-discipline position assigned to a single area.
- Thorough knowledge of construction activities as they relate to engineering disciplines, cost and scheduling, and contract administration.
- Familiar with Bechtel’s Business Ethics handbook and policies.
- Knowledge and understanding of the application and requirements of the Project Environmental, Safety & Health (ES&H) Handbook and the Bechtel Core Processes as they relate to area of responsibility.
- Knowledge of project-specific environmental compliance requirements.
- Knowledge of Bechtel’s “Zero Accidents” safety program.
- Knowledge of the use of subcontracts; knowledge of the contractor/subcontractor’s responsibilities contained in subcontract documents.
