Parts Manager

Western Express, Inc. is seeking an experienced Parts Manager to join our Maintenance team. Previous experience as a Parts Associate is preferred, along with experience using TMT .

Duties and Responsibilities:

- Oversee and manage parts inventory for the Service Center.
- Utilize inventory reports to maintain appropriate stock levels and ensure parts are available for necessary repairs.
- Order, receive, and distribute parts while maintaining accurate inventory records and accounting.
- Monitor and maintain inventory accuracy through regular counts and audits.
- Manage the day-to-day activities and performance of Parts Associates.
- Establish clear goals and expectations for team members and monitor performance to ensure those expectations are met.

Qualifications and Experience:

- Previous experience in Parts and/or Inventory Management is required.
- Experience as a Parts Associate is preferred.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel is required.
- Experience with TMT and Synergize is a plus.
- Strong organizational and inventory management skills.
- Ability to effectively lead, manage, and motivate a team.
- Demonstrated ability to set clear goals and expectations and hold team members accountable for performance.

Performance Measurements:

- Complete weekly cycle counts accurately and consistently.
- Maintain monthly and quarterly inventory audit results with:Less than 2.5% of parts adjusted Less than 1.5% adjustment to total parts value
