About this role
Pima Heart and Vascular is looking for an experienced Radiologic Technologist to join our Ambulatory Surgery Center team in Tucson, AZ. In this PRN role, you will support physicians and staff during cardiac catheterization and electrophysiology procedures, scrubbing and circulating cases, including ablations, to help deliver safe, high-quality patient care.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare instruments and supplies to perform procedures according to the physicians documented preferred routine.
- Prepares the operating field for procedures.
- Performs routine and delegated duties.
- Assist the physician and surgical team before, during and after surgery and will assume responsibility and accountability for the preparation of operating rooms by providing support, assistance and maintenance of instruments and equipment.
- Assist RN staff in the pre-op and PACU areas.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2-3 years of Cath lab or surgical experience
- Associate degree preferred but not required
- BLS & ACLS certification
- RT Certification is preferred but RCIS or RCVT may be accepted in lieu of RT
