THE FORUM is recruiting for a hospitality focused Move-In Coordinator to join our team! The Relocations Coordinator works in accordance with the established policies and procedures of the community and/or specific instruction from the Sales and Marketing Director. The Relocations/Real Estate Coordinator performs all the necessary functions of ensuring a successful move-in/move-out of all residents in addition to assisting the Broker with coordination of real estate transactions. Must have a valid California Real Estate License.

Employment Status: Full Time

Hourly Range: $ 32.35- $ 40.75

Here are a few of the daily responsibilities of a Relocation Coordinator:

- Communicates with internal stakeholders including community leadership and other departments
along with vendors as needed regarding any requests for construction / physical plant changes
(Architectural Review)

- Takes a leadership role in the unit turnover process to ensure schedules are met for move-ins.

- Initial meeting with the sellers to explain the sales process.

- Ensuring all paperwork is received and POA is signed to begin the listing process.

- Meet with sellers (trustees or board representative) to set list prices and create listings.

- Prepares sellers disclosures.

- Keep sellers updated throughout the sales process.

- Present offers to sellers and negotiate transactions.

- Demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Office (Windows, Outlook, and Excel) and LCS applications,
and the ability to learn new applications.

- Handles multiple priorities and effectively manages conflict with minimal supervision.

- Display competency in organizational and time-management skills: attention to detail and accurate
record keeping skills.

- Demonstrate good judgement, problem-solving and decision-making skills.

- Possess and maintain a valid California Real Estate License in good standing.

- Prepares closing documentation and internal communication timely and accurately.

Move-In Services

- Responsible for coordinating all resident moves into the Community in a manner that meets or
exceeds LCS hospitality and service standards.
• Responsible for enforcing the Community’s move-in policies and procedures.
• Coordinate logistics for moves with residents, family members, and the Community
department heads.
• Ensure that apartments and villas are in move-in condition (weekly walk-through inspections,
final inspections) by coordinating with appropriate department heads.
• Takes the lead role for the Sales and Marketing Department in the unit turnover process to
coordinate between Sales Associate, Operations, Housekeeper, Contractor, Architectural
Review, and client to ensure resident move-in goes smoothly and on schedule.
• Act as a gatekeeper of the weekly walk-through inspection.
• Responsible for resident orientation to the Community; coordinate with the Welcoming
Committee to ensure that activities to welcome the new resident—such as an introduction to
her/his neighbors and key staff, a welcoming basket, first dining experience, etc.—are
planned. Ensure that new residents are settled in the Community. are a few of the qualifications we need you to have:

Move-Out Services
• Responsible for coordinating all resident move-outs from the Community at large as well as
into the Healthcare Center in a manner that meets or exceeds LCS hospitality and service
standards.
• Responsible for enforcing the Community’s move-out/move-in policies and procedures.
• Develops and updates as needed the community move-in resource guide.
• Ensure that residents are assisted during the transition. Coordinate logistics for moves with
residents, family members, and department heads. Responsible for family orientation for the
transition.
• Ensure that villas and apartments (and corresponding parking and storage spaces) are in
acceptable condition after the move-out.
• Responsible for the proper documentation of all move-out services according to division
policies and procedures and according to any pertinent federal, state, or local regulations.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree (emphasis in sales/marketing preferred)

- Two years’ experience in marketing/sales

- One year experience in senior housing or healthcare-related field

- One year experience in hospitality preferred.

- Must have a valid CA Real Estate License or ability to obtain the license within 90days.
