Location Overview

Cboe HQ is located in the historic Old Post Office district, it’s a landmark that blends classic architecture with modern amenities. The building features expansive spaces with high ceilings and large windows, offering an abundance of natural light and panoramic views of the city skyline and the Chicago River.

With its prime location in the heart of downtown, the OPO Building provides easy access to major transportation hubs, including Union Station and multiple CTA lines, making it convenient for commuters. The building is home to a variety of amenities, including restaurants, a fitness center, and collaborative workspaces, creating a vibrant and dynamic work environment in one of Chicago's most iconic areas.

Role Overview

The Manager, Product Management will be a key contributor to the Clearing Product team within the Cboe Clear U.S. business unit. This is a manager-level, individual-contributor role. The Manager will help design and implement the clearing product roadmap for CFTC and SEC regulated listed products. The role will partner with Engineering, Infrastructure, Risk, and Operations internally, and Clearing Member Firms' middle and back-office platforms externally. The preferred candidate should possess strong product instincts, collaborative stakeholder communication skills, and a commitment to operational excellence. The role will report to the Director, Product Management.

Your responsibilities will be:

Product Strategy & Planning

- Contribute to product vision and roadmap planning in alignment with Clearing strategy, regulatory developments, and market shifts

- Recommend prioritization of platform features and enhancements based on strategic fit, business impact, and feasibility analysis

- Synthesize stakeholder input and technical feasibility into clear, well-defined product requirements aligned to the Product roadmap

Product Development & Delivery Oversight

- Translate business initiatives and regulatory requirements into actionable deliverables for Engineering, Infrastructure, Risk, and Operations teams

- Own planning and execution of assigned feature releases, ensuring requirements are clear, implementation stakeholders and business stakeholders are aligned, and delivery stays on schedule

- Partner with QA to define test strategy and validate releases prior to production deployment

- Monitor release performance and proactively flag and help resolve delivery risks and operational issues

Cross-Functional Collaboration

- Serve as a Product day-to-day point of contact across departments to keep product delivery cohesive and stakeholders aligned

- Facilitate cross-team discussions throughout the feature requirement / release lifecycle to resolve open questions and maintain delivery momentum

- Mentor Analysts on requirements-writing, prioritization, and product best practices

Client & Vendor Engagement

- Engage directly with Clearing Member Firms and Participating Exchanges to gather feedback and manage day-to-day product questions

- Support back-office and middleware onboarding and education for new product integrations and services

- Assist in managing vendor deliverables to ensure alignment with platform changes and timelines

The ideal candidate has :

- Bachelor's degree

- 7+ years' experience in business analysis or product management, preferably at a Derivatives Clearing Organization (DCO), Covered Clearing Agency, Exchange, Futures Commission Merchant (FCM), Broker-Dealer, or Bank

- Demonstrated ability to own projects independently from requirements through delivery

- Strong analytical skills, with experience in feature release workflows

- Ability to translate business features into written product requirements and acceptance criteria

- Strong communication skills, with the ability to inform stakeholders across technical and business teams feature requirements and implementation statuses

- Comfortable balancing attention to detail with a broader view of platform priorities

You'll really stand out with:

- Working knowledge of clearing/middle office platforms: FIS, ION, Broadridge

- Proven experience in Agile and the software development lifecycle

- Proficient in leveraging the Atlassian software suite (including Jira and Confluence) for project management and collaboration

- Exposure to tokenization technologies or digital asset markets

Salary Ranges (applicable for US locations only)
At Cboe, we are committed to providing a competitive, transparent, and market‑informed total rewards program. The anticipated base salary range for this role is $140,250-$181,500, with actual compensation determined by job‑related factors such as skills, relevant experience, education, internal alignment, and location.

This role may also be eligible for annual incentive compensation and, where applicable, participation in Cboe's long-term equity programs.
