Leading the Travel Experience for a Fortune 500 Infrastructure Leader
Location: Houston, TX (Onsite) Schedule: Monday-Friday | Core Hours 8:00 AM-5:00 PM

EnergyLink Sourcing is seeking an experienced Travel Program Manager to lead and optimize our enterprise-wide travel program supporting Quanta Services operating companies across North America. This highly visible role serves as the strategic owner of corporate travel, balancing cost management, traveler experience, supplier performance, and program compliance across a diverse and rapidly growing organization.
As the enterprise travel expert, you will work closely with operating company leaders, employees, travel management partners, and suppliers to develop travel solutions that support business objectives while ensuring safety, efficiency, and a best-in-class traveler experience. What You'll Do
- Serve as the enterprise-wide owner and subject matter expert for Quanta's business travel program, supporting multiple operating companies across North America.
- Develop, implement, and optimize travel policies while providing guidance to operating companies with varying levels of travel program maturity.
- Manage relationships with travel management companies (TMCs), airlines, hotel providers, rental car agencies, and travel technology partners.
- Lead RFPs, supplier evaluations, contract negotiations, and vendor performance reviews to drive value and improve service levels.
- Own travel spends management, reporting, budgeting, and savings initiatives across the enterprise.
- Monitor travel program performance through analytics, dashboards, and quarterly business reviews for leadership.
- Act as the primary escalation point for complex travel disruptions, emergencies, and traveler support issues.
- Support employee travel needs, including booking tool access, travel guidance, policy interpretation, and issue resolution.
- Lead implementation, administration, and adoption of travel booking and expense management platforms.
- Coordinate traveler safety and duty-of-care initiatives in partnership with HR, Security, and business leadership.
- Manage group travel, executive travel, conferences, and special travel projects as required.
- Drive continuous improvement through process optimization, automation, traveler feedback, and industry best practices.
- Support onboarding of newly acquired operating companies into the enterprise travel program.
What You'll Bring
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Hospitality, Supply Chain, or a related field; equivalent experience may be considered.
- 7+ years of corporate travel management, travel operations, procurement, supplier management, or related experience.
- Proven experience negotiating contracts and managing supplier relationships within the travel industry.
- Experience managing Travel Management Company (TMC) relationships and enterprise travel programs.
- Strong analytical, reporting, and budget management skills.
- Experience using travel booking and expense management platforms such as Concur, Navan, Egencia, SAP Concur, or similar solutions.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently and influence outcomes across a decentralized organization.
Preferred
- Experience supporting multi-entity, decentralized, or shared-services organizations.
- Global travel program management experience.
- Knowledge of traveler safety, duty-of-care, and risk management practices.
- Professional certifications such as GTP, CCTE, CPSM, or related credentials.
- Experience with sustainability initiatives, travel emissions reporting, or ESG-related travel programs.
- Ability to travel is up to 10% as business needs require.
