About the Role
We're looking for an upstart University Recruitment Ambassador Intern who brings a strong blend of customer service and operations skills to help us build a world class data collection program. You will find candidates who match our study requirements and build a pipeline to our data collection studies. You'll also serve as a friendly point of contact for participants as they move through the process, fostering a community of folks interested in advancing new techology. This is a hands-on opportunity to gain experience in recruiting, community outreach, marketing, and startup operations while helping Tacit build the future of communication technology. Responsibilities
- Recruit prospective participants through student organizations, university clubs, campus events, newsletters, social media, flyers, and direct outreach.
- Build awareness of Tacit’s research participation opportunities across your campus and surrounding student community.
- Conduct outreach to potential participants via cold calling, email, and social media
- Serve as the main point of contact for participants — answering questions and resolving concerns ahead of scheduled sessions
- Develop relationships with club leaders, professors, student organizations, career centers, and other campus partners.
- Track outreach activities, referrals, applications, and successful participant sign-ups.
- Partner with the Data Collection team to ensure participant profiles match study requirements and enrollment quotas are met on schedule
- Represent Tacit professionally and follow all approved communication, privacy, and research-participant guidelines.
What we are looking for
- Must be a currently enrolled student at an accredited college or university for the duration of the internship.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Strong connection to and familiarity with the campus community.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Comfortable initiating conversations and reaching out to students, organizations, professors, and campus leaders.
- Friendly, dependable, organized, and able to represent Tacit professionally.
- Able to work independently, manage outreach activities, and meet agreed-upon recruitment goals.
- Comfortable tracking activities and results using digital tools.
- Available for occasional campus events, meetings, and outreach outside regular class hours.
- Must follow Tacit’s approved recruitment messaging and processes.
- Prior experience with an ATS, CRM, or outreach tools is a plus but not required
Compensation
$20 per hour
