Location

This is a full-time position based in Munich or Cologne. Following a comprehensive onboarding period at our HQ in central Zurich (minimum one month), you will work from your home location, with regular visits to customers across the DACH region.

Team collaboration matters a lot to us. You will regularly spend time with the team in person, in Zurich and at our hubs, for team days, all-hands and offsites. These visits are financially supported by blp.

Your Mission

You get customers live. Hands on, end to end, and fast.

As a Senior Project Manager , you make large, global blp transformations happen. These programs touch finance, procurement and supply chain at once, run across multiple ERP systems and legal entities, and roll out country by country. Your job is to orchestrate all of it and get the customer live: the first go-live above all, because that is where credibility is won or lost, and then wave after wave with the same discipline. You run the steering committee, you lead a blp team on each engagement, and you do that across several engagements at once.

At both levels, scope is the single biggest lever on whether a project goes live on time. Protecting it is a daily job, not a contract clause. You escalate early and precisely rather than absorbing problems until they become critical.

You will not be alone with the technical side. Integrations Engineers handle the connection into the ERP, Technical Project Managers handle the harder solution design, and our Consultants take over the automation work after go-live. On our largest strategic accounts a Client Partner carries the relationship and the commercial number, so your attention goes to delivery quality.

We have done this many times, so you are not inventing the approach each time. A proven onboarding method and a strong toolkit are what let you carry your own customers from early on.

Your Career Path in Project Management

This is the path most of our delivery leadership came through, and we hire at every step of it. We place you according to your experience and the size of the programs you have delivered, and we are explicit about what the next step requires.

- Project Manager: You get customers live end to end, several in parallel: guided onboarding for commercial customers, leading enterprise projects yourself, or a workstream on our largest programs. Typically you bring 2+ years in consulting, implementation or project management.
- Senior Project Manager: You make large, global transformations happen: multiple ERPs, entities and countries, the steering committee, and a blp team on each engagement. Typically you bring 5+ years delivering complex, multi-country programs.
- Next steps: Lead a delivery team, or move into Consulting and from there towards our Client Partner role on strategic accounts.

Moves into Consulting or Customer Success Engineering are open at every level, and many of our people make them.

Key Responsibilities

- Run implementations end to end: kick-off, scope, planning, configuration, testing and go-live.
- Manage several customers in parallel at different stages, and keep every one of them on date.
- Work with customers on their processes, and flag early where a process assumption will not hold.
- Coordinate the specialists on your projects: Integrations Engineers, Technical Project Managers and AI Automation Specialists.
- Own scope actively. Recognize a change request for what it is and handle it deliberately.
- Keep the project inside its budget, and raise it early when the effort is drifting.
- Hand over cleanly at go-live to our Consultants and support organization.

In addition, as a Senior Project Manager

- Own the delivery outcome of global programs from kick-off to the last go-live: plan, scope, dependencies and date.
- Drive the first go-live relentlessly, then run wave planning across ERPs, entities and countries.
- Run the steering committee and own the decisions that come out of it.
- Write and execute the recovery plan when a program is off track.
- Lead the blp team on each engagement and coach the Project Managers working on your programs.

- Client Confidence – You are comfortable running a meeting with a customer's finance or IT lead in it.
- Four-Language Fluency – Technology, process, data and people. You speak each well enough to spot where a roadblock really sits.
- Structured Under Pressure – When a project goes sideways you get sharper and more organized, not louder.

What You Bring

- 5+ years of experience delivering complex projects: management consulting, enterprise software implementation, or large-scale transformation delivery.
- Proven track record running multi-country or multi-entity programs with senior client stakeholders, and steering a committee that includes client executives.
- Experience leading a delivery team rather than only a plan.
- Strong analytical and communication skills. You can translate a business need into something a technical team can act on.
- Fluent in German and English, spoken and written.
- Bonus points for ERP implementation experience, finance or supply chain processes, or AI-driven SaaS.
