About the Role
The Premium Sales and Service Representative is primarily responsible for driving revenue and hitting sales goals, and will lead new business generation in the premium seating areas of new Suites, Loge Box, and Club Seating associated the Kansas Athletics venues. The Premium Sales Rep is responsible for engaging and converting existing Kansas Athletic donors and ticket holders, while also identifying new prospects interested in purchasing premium seating. This position will be focused on prospecting, appointment setting, executing on-campus and out of office sales presentations and securing premium seating commitments.
The Premium Sales and Service Representative should be results driven, possess an optimistic team-first attitude and a desire to be the best. The Premium Sales Rep will also support sales through season, group, corporate hospitality and premium seating packages for the Kansas football, men’s basketball, and women’s basketball programs. We are seeking an experienced team member with a positive, results-oriented approach to sales and VIP experiences, who can communicate clearly across all platforms and work diligently to identify and convert new ticket members.
About the Project/Venue
Kansas Athletics and Legends, a global premium experiences company, have announced a comprehensive, long-term partnership focused on reimagining the fan experience as part of the expansive renovation of iconic Allen Fieldhouse and the transformation of David Booth Kansas Memorial Stadium.
Allen Fieldhouse, the premier venue in college basketball, recently completed renovations that included upgraded fan experience amenities and reimagined and expanded premium hospitality spaces. David Booth Kansas Memorial Stadium is part of a transformational multi-use development project to create a north gateway entrance to the University of Kansas campus.
As part of the overarching agreement, Legends will work in partnership with Kansas Athletics to optimize revenue generation and curate experiences for all Jayhawk fans. With a data-driven approach, Legends will oversee premium product development, pricing, and sales as part of the projects, as well as manage overall premium seating, ticket sales, annual fund donations, marketing strategy, and business intelligence for all ticketed sporting events.
WHAT YOU’LL DO (KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & OUTCOMES)
- Utilize the Preview Center, stadium, and other organizational facilities to conduct sales meetings, presentations, tours, and client experiences that educate prospects on available products, services, amenities, and opportunities
- Manage a portfolio of clients, donors, season ticket holders, and prospects as a primary point of contact, building and maintaining long-term relationships through meetings, events, hospitality experiences, networking, and ongoing engagement
- Serve as a primary point of contact for clients and prospects, providing a high level of service throughout the sales and customer lifecycle
- Prospect and cultivate new business through lead generation, networking, outreach, meetings, presentations, and consistent follow-up to maintain a strong pipeline and achieve individual and team sales objectives
- Lead sales conversations, presentations, negotiations, and closing processes from initial contact through completion of the sale
- Maintain accurate and timely customer and prospect information within CRM and other organizational systems to support effective follow-up, reporting, and relationship management
- Meet or exceed individual and team sales goals, activity expectations, and other performance objectives
- Develop a strong understanding of organizational products, services, facilities, and customer offerings in order to effectively communicate value and answer client questions
- Collaborate with internal departments and organizational partners to ensure a seamless experience for clients, prospects, and other stakeholders
- Provide ongoing service and support following the sale, including addressing questions, resolving issues, supporting renewals, and identifying future opportunities
- Participate in events, game days, meetings, and other organizational activities that support sales, client engagement, and relationship development
- Maintain a professional, service-oriented approach while representing the organization to clients, prospects, partners, and members of the community
- Work non-traditional hours as needed, including evenings, weekends, events, and game days
WHAT YOU BRING (QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE)
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 4+ years of prior sales experience is preferred
- Prior experience selling five and six figure deals in the professional or collegiate sports and entertainment industry is preferred
- Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
- Proficient in software programs including Salesforce CRM and Paciolan
- Ability to handle heavy volume of outbound and inbound phone calls and emails
- Strong time management and organizational skills with attention to detail
- Candidate should possess an optimistic team-first attitude, as well as a competitive desire to be the best
- Candidates should possess both personal and professional communication skills to interface with all levels of a company, both internally and externally
- Prospect and cultivate new sales leads through creative lead generation methods, as well as follow up on leads provided by partner organization
- Excellent relationship building and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact comfortably and effectively with internal and external clients at all levels of an organization
- Excellent interpersonal verbal and written communication skills is a must
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously while remaining organized, efficient and calm under pressure
- Ability to prioritize and meet competing deadlines independently
- Motivated self-starter, with exceptional organization, strategic thinking and personal leadership skills
- Ability to strategize towards achieving big picture initiatives while possessing necessary attention to detail to ensure high level execution each step of the way
- Strong problem-solving skills and general creativity

COMPENSATION
