About this role
Summary
Legends Global, the leader in privately managed public assembly facilities, has an excellent and immediate opening for a Box Office Assistant for the Albuquerque Convention Center, including Kiva Auditorium, and Civic Plaza. The Box Office Assistant will interact continuously with clients, promoters, ushers, and ticket takers.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Sell tickets for events at the Kiva Auditorium Box Office and other assigned locations using Ticketmaster ticketing platform.
- Handout reservations night of show
- Assist ticket takers and ushers as needed
- Assist Box Office Manager as needed
- Demonstrates excellent customer service skills, responds promptly to customer needs, responds to accessible seating requests for service and assistance, able to work independently and handle most box office questions without assistance
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Skills and Abilities
- A positive, people-friendly approach
- Ticketmaster experience preferred.
- Patience when dealing with patrons and colleagues.
- A willingness to help
- Bilingual preferred but not required
- Reliable
- Work effectively under pressure and/or stringent schedule and produce accurate results.
- Excellent communication, problem solving and organizational skills required
Other Qualifications
Requires ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends and holidays in addition to normal business hours.
