Student Account Representative

Summary: Northampton Community College is seeking a part-time Student   Account   Representative  to work in the Bursar Office. This is a customer service position that will deal primarily with handling  student   account s which includes: reviewing  account  balances to answer  student  questions, answering questions related to payment plans and refunds, applying payments to tuition charges, and balancing the cash drawer at the end of the day.   In addition to processing student payments, this position will post other types of payments such as parking tickets, club deposits, and other miscellaneous deposits. Other duties include processing mail, answering phones, filing, and replying to emails with student, staff, faculty, and outside organizations.

Requirements: This is a customer-facing position, requiring experience in customer service, and the following skills: computer proficiency, being detail-oriented, and having the ability to multitask.

Schedule: Approximately 25 hours per week/4 days per week
