Overview The IP Group (IPG) is seeking a Technical Program Manager to support the execution, coordination, and operational readiness of business-critical technology initiatives across engineering, security, compliance, operations, and business teams. In this role, you will work closely with senior technical, program, and business leaders to translate established priorities into actionable plans and help coordinate activities across multiple technical workstreams. You will support program planning and tracking, security and compliance activities, operational readiness, release coordination, vendor engagement, documentation, risk and dependency management, and stakeholder communication. This position is well suited for an organized and technically capable program manager who enjoys working across teams, bringing structure to complex initiatives, and helping technical and business stakeholders move work forward. You will provide the coordination, visibility, and follow-through needed to support reliable technology operations and successful delivery of approved initiatives. The role is focused on execution and operational support rather than ownership of portfolio strategy or long-term program direction. You will partner with senior leaders and technical owners to help ensure priorities are effectively coordinated, risks and dependencies remain visible, and technical, operational, security, and compliance commitments progress toward completion. Responsibilities As a Technical Program Manager supporting IPG Technical Operations, you will provide program management, coordination, and execution support for business-critical technology initiatives across engineering, security, compliance, operations, and business teams.Key responsibilities include:<ul style="direction: ltr; unicode-bidi: embed; margin-top: 0in; margin-bottom: 0in;" type="disc"><li style="margin-top: 0; margin-bottom: 0; vertical-align: middle;">Support the execution of technical programs and initiatives by helping translate established priorities into actionable plans, milestones, dependencies, risks, and measurable outcomes.</li><li style="margin-top: 0; margin-bottom: 0; vertical-align: middle;">Coordinate activities across engineering, business operations, security, compliance, and other technical stakeholders to help programs progress from requirements through implementation, testing, release, and operational handoff.</li><li style="margin-top: 0; margin-bottom: 0; vertical-align: middle;">Maintain project plans, schedules, backlogs, risks, dependencies, decisions, and delivery status, identifying potential issues and coordinating with appropriate owners on resolution or escalation.</li><li style="margin-top: 0; margin-bottom: 0; vertical-align: middle;">Support the operational health and readiness of IPG applications, platforms, and technical services by coordinating deployments, releases, service improvements, incident follow-up, and remediation activities.</li><li style="margin-top: 0; margin-bottom: 0; vertical-align: middle;">Assist technical and program owners with execution of security, privacy, risk, and compliance requirements, including vulnerability remediation, technical assessments, audit and compliance actions, SFI/S360 commitments, threat-model reviews, penetration-testing follow-up, and related evidence and reporting.</li><li style="margin-top: 0; margin-bottom: 0; vertical-align: middle;">Facilitate requirements definition, backlog refinement, sprint planning, user acceptance testing, production-readiness reviews, releases, and operational transitions in partnership with engineering and business stakeholders.</li><li style="margin-top: 0; margin-bottom: 0; vertical-align: middle;">Track technical debt, security findings, operational improvements, compliance obligations, and other commitments, providing visibility to owners and stakeholders and supporting timely completion.</li><li style="margin-top: 0; margin-bottom: 0; vertical-align: middle;">Coordinate activities performed by vendors, contractors, and external delivery partners, including deliverables, schedules, dependencies, access requirements, knowledge transfer, and operational readiness.</li><li style="margin-top: 0; margin-bottom: 0; vertical-align: middle;">Develop and maintain program documentation, operational procedures, runbooks, decision records, and knowledge repositories that support service continuity and effective technology operations.</li><li style="margin-top: 0; margin-bottom: 0; vertical-align: middle;">Support established communication and operating rhythms by preparing status reporting, risk and dependency assessments, executive summaries, meeting materials, and decision-support information.</li><li style="margin-top: 0; margin-bottom: 0; vertical-align: middle;">Identify opportunities to improve execution, operational processes, documentation, automation, and service readiness, and work with appropriate owners to evaluate and implement improvements.</li><li style="margin-top: 0; margin-bottom: 0; vertical-align: middle;">Partner with senior technical, program, and business leaders to support execution of approved priorities with appropriate visibility, coordination, accountability, and follow-through.</li></ul> Qualifications Required Qualifications <ul><li style="font-family: Calibri; font-size: 11pt;">Bachelor's Degree AND 2+ years experience in engineering, product/technical program management, data analysis, or product development OR equivalent experience.</li><li style="font-family: Calibri; font-size: 11pt;">1+ year(s) of experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects.</li></ul> Preferred Qualifications <ul><li style="font-family: Calibri; font-size: 11pt;">Bachelor's Degree AND 5+ years experience engineering, product/technical program management, data analysis, or product development OR equivalent experience.</li><li style="font-family: Calibri; font-size: 11pt;">4+ years of experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects.</li><li style="font-family: Calibri; font-size: 11pt;">1+ year(s) of experience reading and/or writing code (e.g., sample documentation, product demos).</li><li style="font-family: Calibri; font-size: 11pt;">Experience supporting enterprise applications, cloud services, operational platforms, or other business-critical technology environments.</li><li style="font-family: Calibri; font-size: 11pt;">Experience working with Agile, Scrum, Kanban, or similar modern technology delivery methodologies.</li><li style="font-family: Calibri; font-size: 11pt;">Familiarity with Microsoft cloud and enterprise technologies such as Azure, Power Platform, SharePoint, Power BI, or related services.</li><li style="font-family: Calibri; font-size: 11pt;">Experience supporting security, compliance, privacy, audit, vulnerability remediation, or technology risk-management initiatives.</li><li style="font-family: Calibri; font-size: 11pt;">Familiarity with work-management and engineering tools such as Azure DevOps, Jira, Planner, or similar platforms.</li><li style="font-family: Calibri; font-size: 11pt;">Experience coordinating vendors, contractors, consulting partners, or distributed technical delivery teams.</li><li style="font-family: Calibri; font-size: 11pt;">Experience supporting technology environments involving operational readiness, releases, service transitions, incident follow-up, or technical remediation activities.</li><li style="font-family: Calibri; font-size: 11pt;">Familiarity with legal, intellectual property, licensing, or other regulated or compliance-focused business environments is a plus.</li></ul> Technical Program Management IC3 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $102,100 - $202,200 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $133,800 - $219,200 per year.
