Aircraft Inspector V (Deploy Only)

As an Aircraft Inspector V, you will provide expert oversight for all aircraft inspection activities, ensuring the highest levels of safety and compliance. You will act as a subject matter expert and lead continuous improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities:
- Provide expert oversight for all inspection activities.
- Act as a subject matter expert for complex compliance issues.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives for inspection processes.
- Ensure comprehensive and accurate documentation of all inspections.
- Mentor and train all levels of inspectors.
- Develop and maintain advanced inspection protocols.

Qualifications You Must Have:

- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 7+ years of relevant experience.
- Higher level relevant degree may substitute for experience.
- Active, current Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) certification.
- Inspection Authorization (IA) Designation required.
- Due to program, PC-12 experience is mandatory.
- Advanced experience with and knowledge of aircraft, aircraft systems, equipment and parts.
- Comprehensive understanding and experience with the practical application of product audit and inspection processes and procedures.
- Basic Microsoft Office Suite skills (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel).

- Thoroughly familiar with the inspection methods, techniques, practices, aids, equipment, and tools used to determine the airworthiness of aviation products after maintenance.

- Ability to speak, read and write in English
- Advanced skills in repairing, maintaining and/or troubleshooting aircraft airframes and engines
- Ability to meet current DoD and Combatant Command restriction requirements for deployed locations
- Successfully pass a pre-deployment medical assessment
- Ability to deploy for a minimum of 90 days to OCONUS operating location.
- Must be willing and able to work extended hours, holidays and shift schedules as required
- Work 6 days M-Sat, 12 hours days - 1st shift (72 hours)

Qualifications We Prefer:

- Prior experience in a Lead role; the ability to mentor and guide subordinates.
- Thorough understanding of 14 CFR Chapter 1.
- Comprehensive understanding of civil or government aviation inspection operations and/or FAA Repair Station operations.
- Prior experience with first article inspections and/or aircraft modifications.
- Experience as an FAA Designee for Conformity Inspections.
- Background in the Aerospace and Defense Industry, the US Department of Defense, or US Military.
